 The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency enhances and improves the health of millions of people every day through the effective regulation of medicines (including biological medicines), medical devices and blood products underpinned by science and research.
 
 
 The agency is made up of c.1400 staff working across two main centres in Canary Wharf, London and South Mimms, Hertfordshire and peripatetically across the UK and abroad. This new role is part of the People team, but will work extremely closely with delivery Groups
 
 
 The agency consists of Corporate, Partnerships, Transformation, Governance, Communications &amp; Engagement, Scientific Research &amp; Innovation, Healthcare Quality &amp; Access, Safety &amp; Surveillance and Technology groups.
 
 
 
 
 About The Group And Function
 
 
 
 
 The People function is part of the Corporate Group, along with Finance, Commercial and Infrastructure and Laboratory Services functions which are led by the Chief Finance Officer.

 Job Description
 
 
 
 This is a key role within the People function, delivering the full 360 recruitment cycle for designated client areas.
 
 
 The Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for all administrative aspects of the recruitment process and running campaigns, providing an excellent pro-active recruitment service to recruiting managers and applicants as well as communicating and developing relationships with the assigned Groups and functions within the Agency, external job boards/media and recruitment agencies. This role will be key in delivering an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience.
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities And Results Areas
 
 
 
 
 <ul>

 To support the Recruitment Advisor in coordinating all recruitment within specified business areas, building strong working relationships and knowledge within these areas.
 </li>
 <li>
 To offer an excellent recruitment service to hiring managers, advising on process and best practice, ensuring adherence to all aspects of the recruitment policy, and compliance with Civil Service Commission and legislative regulations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure a seamless recruitment experience for the hiring managers and candidates, advising of improvements where necessary and appropriate.
 </li>
 <li>
 Liaise with external stakeholders to agree and manage supplier costs and relationships.
 </li>
 <li>
 Complete necessary logging requirements and store related documentation appropriately.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate assessment centres and panel interviews in accordance with agreed procedures and guidance, including advising and setting up tests.
 </li>
 <li>
 Where appropriate, participate in selection processes, providing guidance and supporting managers through the interview process and with their decision making.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that all pre-employment clearances for each candidate (Occupational Health, Right to Work, Work Permit etc) are sought and achieved efficiently and effectively and where issues are raised seek and provide consistent advice in accordance with employment legislation and best practice.

 Chase and escalate any issues with third party providers of pre employment clearances.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that communications with the appointee and hiring manager are maintained so that the new joiner has an excellent experience of the MHRA.
 </li>

 Administer and coordinate end to end recruitment lifecycle transactional processes, including, starters, internal moves, new pension enrolments, payroll and various administrative duties which support the recruitment function.
 </li>

 Support the People operations team with the Monthly Payroll Processes, providing the required new starter and internal move documentation and ensuring accurate information is ready to be passed on to the third-party payroll provider.
 </li>

 Support the delivery of inductions to new starters within the organisation.
