<div>Medix Infusion is seeking an experienced Float Registered Nurse (RN) to join our teams at our Chesterfield/Des Peres Clinics. In this role, you will be responsible for advocating for and supporting patients within the clinic. You will play a crucial role in coordinating and facilitating the infusion therapy process, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for patients. You will work closely with the Intake, Scheduling, Pharmacy, and Clinical departments to manage patient care while promoting compassionate, high-quality standards.
This position is based in Chesterfield/Des Peres, MO. The work schedule is Monday through Wednesday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Monday and Tuesday will be scheduled at our Chesterfield, MO clinic, and Wednesday will be scheduled at our Des Peres, MO Clinic.
Medix Infusion is a technology-driven healthcare platform dedicated to enhancing patient care and access to infusion therapies. We specialize in disease management and infusion pharmacy services for chronic and acutely ill patients, especially those in underserved communities. We offer personalized home and in-suite infusion therapies, ensuring convenience and comfort. Our expert team provides a comprehensive range of treatments, including anti-infectives, biologics, IVIG, and other injectables, making each patient&rsquo;s journey as smooth as possible.
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Advocate for patients, addressing their concerns and collaborating with the healthcare team to enhance the overall patient experience.</li><li>
Ensure timely and effective communication between different departments and healthcare professionals.</li><li>
Educate patients and their families about infusion therapy procedures, potential side effects, and the importance of adherence to treatment plans.</li><li>
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes.</li><li>
Research and obtain additional data, consulting with referring offices, Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Managers, and Medical Directors when necessary.</li><li>
Adhere to established clinical protocols and guidelines to ensure the safety and effectiveness of infusion therapy.</li><li>
Serve as a resource to non-clinical staff within the Patient Services Department.</li><li>
Ensure work is completed in a timely manner to prevent delays in patient care.</li><li>
Attend departmental meetings and in-services.</li><li>
Assist with orientation and training of staff.</li><li>
Demonstrate courteous, compassionate, and professional behavior at all times.</li><li>
Perform all other assigned duties.</li></ul> 
Required Qualifications:<ul><li>
Active RN license with 1&ndash;3 years of hands-on clinical experience.</li><li>
Valid nursing license with all necessary credentials and certifications in good standing.</li><li>
Previous experience in IV therapy or infusion specialty is highly preferred.</li><li>
Strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care with compassion and professionalism.</li><li>
Great communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.</li><li>
Ability to thrive both in a collaborative team environment and as a self-reliant individual contributor.</li><li>
Capable of performing all essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodations.</li></ul>

You will work closely with the Intake, Scheduling, Pharmacy, and Clinical departments to manage patient care while promoting compassionate, high-quality standards.
This position is based in St. Peters, MO. The work schedule is Thursday - Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. You will be working as part of a small team with minimal supervision.
