Shifts: Variable: 8, 10, or 12-hour shiftsOn-Call: 1:5 rotation with first call every eighth night, no second callWeekend Requirements: Same 1:5 call rotationJob ResponsibilitiesProvide anesthesia care for cardiac surgical procedures including CABG, valve replacements, and other complex cardiac surgeriesCases:Primarily cardiac and vascular (no OB or trauma)Average cardiac cases: 6&ndash;8 per day<ul><li>Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes</li><li>Conduct pre-operative evaluations and post-operative care for cardiac patients</li><li>Contribute to development and improvement of anesthesia protocols and practices</li><li>Provide compassionate care to a primarily adult and geriatric patient population (some pediatric cases)</li><li>Practice Setting: High-volume inpatient heart center</li><li>Operating Rooms: 30</li><li>Supervision: No CRNA supervision required</li><li>Reason for Opening: Addition of 3 new cardiac surgeons</li></ul>Qualifications / Submission Requirements:<ul><li>Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) in Anesthesiology &ndash; Required</li><li>ECHO Board Certified and/or Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship-Trained (must be completed prior to start) &ndash; Required</li><li>Cardiac Fellowship-Trained &ndash; Highly Preferred</li><li>NY Medical License (or willingness to obtain) &ndash; Required</li><li>BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications by start date &ndash; Required</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Base Compensation: $650,000/year</li><li>Additional: Productivity bonuses, quality incentives, extra shift pay</li><li>Sign-On Bonus: $100,000</li><li>Relocation Allowance: Reimbursement-based (amount depends on distance moved)</li></ul>Benefits Package Includes:<ul><li>Health, Dental, Vision insurance</li><li>Paid malpractice (including tail coverage)</li><li>CME allowance &amp; CME time off</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement savings program</li></ul>Other Details<ul><li>Visa Sponsorship: Open to H-1B candidates (No J-1 waivers)</li><li>Certification Requirements: ACLS, BLS (AHA), PALS, Board Certified/Board Eligible</li><li>Licensing Requirement: Active or eligible for New York medical license</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $650,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>BLS, ACLS, PALS Certification (Required)</li><li>NY License (Required)</li><li>ECHO Board Certification (Required)</li></ul>Shift availability:<ul><li>Night Shift (Required)</li><li>Overnight Shift (Required)</li><li>Day Shift (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
