We will teach you what you don&rsquo;t know about cat and dog care.</li><li>We have a team of industry veterans helping us on the back end, ensuring day-to-day operations for the staff and clients run without complication.</li></ul>Job Requirements:<ul><li>Availability for part-time hours, including some weekends and holidays.</li><li>A safe, reliable, insured vehicle with a valid driver's license and at least five years of driving experience.</li></ul>Schedule: <ul><li>Monday through Friday from 10am-2 pm</li><li>Other shifts available and weekends/holidays.</li></ul>Responsibilities:<ul><li>Our service area is near Colorado Springs. You must be comfortable working outdoors, all four seasons in Colorado Springs.</li><li>Physically fit to handle pets of various sizes and temperaments during walks and playtime.</li><li>Passion for working with animals, demonstrating patience and compassion.</li><li>Proven face-to-face communication skills, over the phone, or on messenger. We use a dedicated app for schedules, pet information, and client communication.</li><li>Ability to follow detailed instructions and special care requirements for each pet.</li><li>Some level of personal experience in dog walking or pet sitting is required.</li><li>We also help beyond pet care. Our service includes additional household help, such as taking out the trash, bringing in the mail, or watering plants.</li><li>When performing almost overnight services, we often provide meals, medication, enrichment, and litter box cleanings for cat care services.</li></ul>Ideal Candidates:<ul><li>Animal Enthusiast: You genuinely love working with animals, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This is a fun job, but a permanent position, not gig work.</li><li>Candidates with prior professional or volunteer experience are encouraged to apply.</li><li>Responsible: You can be trusted to care for clients&rsquo; pets and homes, maintaining the highest standards of security and service. If you have experience working independently and without supervision, this will be an easy environment in which to thrive.</li><li>Proactive: You handle unexpected situations calmly and resourcefully, taking the initiative where needed. We work as a team and need critical thinkers who can help.</li><li>Detail-Oriented: You follow through with specific pet care instructions and attention to home maintenance tasks.</li><li>Reliable: You are punctual and consistently dependable, embodying professionalism in all interactions. This is especially important for clients with scheduled feedings or medications.</li><li>This role is designed to be part-time. Candidates with flexible schedules will enjoy our work environment.</li><li>We are on the move during our shifts. If you have driven a vehicle professionally before, this will be a refreshing experience with animal visits during your shift.
