Job Summary:MEG Healthcare in Dallas is seeking a detail-oriented Case Manager to join our team.In this role, you will manage a variety of tasks including processing LOPs, scheduling patient appointments, and coordinating with law firms and medical facilities. You will ensure efficient scheduling and communication between law firms and doctors.The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, have a strong ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be proficient in Microsoft Office.Duties/Responsibilities:<ul><li>Exceptional customer service to internal and external clients</li><li>Save/Process LOPs</li><li>Schedule new patient appointments (arranging uber if approved)</li><li>Saving/processing visit notes and orders. Send notes to law firms. If imaging is ordered send patient to facility, follow up and obtain reports. If PT is ordered, follow up with law firm and patient to ensure they are scheduled and go to appointments. If patient is referred to another doctor, submit this for approval and request LOP &ndash; a new case will be opened if approved. Make sure patient is seen and scheduled for follow up.</li><li>Must be comfortable with heavy phone and email communication daily</li><li>Submit a surgery or injection for underwriting if it is recommended. Track down any information needed for approval. If surgery is approved, request follow up on LOPs. Once LOP is received schedule surgery. If pre operation clearance is needed, set up and schedule. Send out surgical LOPs &amp; handle treatment until patient is released.</li><li>If a law firm needs a SCE for a recommended procedure, we receive the invoice from the clinic and follow up to make sure it is paid. Then send doctor/hospital portions to law firm.</li><li>Handle scheduling deposition/trials between law firm and doctor</li><li>If a trial ensues facilitate scheduling for law firm and doctor</li><li>Responsible for following up on WIT cases as needed</li></ul>Required Skills/Abilities:<ul><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills</li><li>Ability to handle high volume in a fast-paced environment required</li><li>Heavy phone and email communication daily</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software</li><li>Needles experience preferred but, not required</li></ul>Education and Experience:<ul><li>2+ years customer service, legal or professional office experience required</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree highly preferred</li><li>Bi-lingual (Spanish) highly preferred</li></ul>Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer</li><li>Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>8 hour shift</li><li>Monday to Friday</li></ul>Work Location: In personJob Type: Full-timePay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment?</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Customer service: 2 years (Required)</li><li>legal or professional office: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Dallas, TX 75230 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
