Job SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our financial records and ensure compliance with UAE regulations. You will be responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping, managing accounts payable/receivable, and preparing tax returns in accordance with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) guidelines.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&amp;L) and management reports.</li><li>VAT Compliance: Handle VAT registration, calculate tax liabilities, and ensure timely filing of VAT returns via the FTA EmaraTax portal.</li><li>Bookkeeping: Maintain general ledgers, perform bank reconciliations, and manage petty cash.</li><li>AP &amp; AR Management: Oversee accounts payable (vendor payments) and accounts receivable (invoice generation and debt collection).</li><li>Audit Support: Assist external auditors during annual audits by providing necessary documentation and schedules.</li><li>Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all financial activities align with IFRS standards and local UAE Commercial Companies Law.</li></ul>Required Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li>Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, or CMA) are highly preferred.</li><li>Experience: Minimum 2&ndash;5 years of accounting experience, ideally within the UAE.</li><li>Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or Zoho Books).</li><li>Tax Knowledge: Strong understanding of UAE VAT laws and FTA regulations.</li><li>Communication: Fluent in English (both written and verbal). Knowledge of Arabic is a plus but usually not mandatory.</li><li>Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and financial analysis.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: AED18,000.00 - AED28,000.00 per monthExpected hours: 40 per weekWork Location: In person
