</div><div></div><div><p><b>DEFINITION:</b></p><p>
The office coordinator performs a variety of clerical and retail tasks that require basic knowledge of systems and procedures. Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the position is responsible for the daily operations of the DME which includes answering phones, Scanning, Retail Sales, payments and patient demographics, faxing, copying, researching ICD-10 codes or HCPC codes, and knowledge of insurance companies and their payment systems. The position interacts exclusively with patients of all ages and cultures, physicians and mid-level practitioners, hospital staff, the clinic nurse(s) and outside business (pharmacies, drug representatives, etc.)</p><p></p><p><b><br>
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</b></p><p>
High School graduate or greater</p><p>
Basic computer and secretarial skills.</p><p>
Knowledge of medical terminology helpful.</p><p>
Ability to type, computer, communication and customer service skills</p><p>
Medical terminology and coding experience helpful.</p></div></div><p></p>

The LPN is accountable for delivery of patient care in the clinic during office hours. The LPN is responsible for: practicing within the LPN scope of practice managing any assigned personnel and promoting collaboration among the disciplines. The LPN is accountable to the Physician Supervisor, Department Director, patient and family for all nursing behavior. Patient population includes: all age groups to include children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.</div><p></p><div><b><br>
REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS (IF APPLICABLE):</b></div><div>
Authorized to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Oklahoma.</div><p></p><div><b><br>
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</b></div><div>
One to two years physicians office nursing experience, preferably primary care.</div><div><br>
