 POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the execution of high-quality retail flyers, ensuring promotional home improvement products are accurate and effective in driving customer engagement and sales. 


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul><li>Preparing flyer page layouts. (includes, but not limited to, layout, product and logo placement, product descriptions, pricing and final file setup for print)</li></ul>
<ul><li>Prepare pages for multiple proofing and review meetings</li></ul>
<ul><li>Production coordination with Merchandising Marketing Specialists and Merchants to gather all necessary content and information for the flyer creation and or changes.
</li></ul><ul><li>Quality Control, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all flyers by proofreading and checking for errors in text, pricing and images.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Maintain progress of multiple sales through various stages in the proofing schedule</li></ul>
<ul><li>Review all layouts for accuracy</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ensure all deadlines are met with updated layouts</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assist your team with Specialty Sale layouts
</li></ul>POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
<ul><li>Bachelor or Associate Degree in Communications, Advertising, Integrated Strategic Communication, Journalism or related field preferred but NOT required. Equivalent work experience in the required field is acceptable as well.
</li></ul><ul><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Understand brand and retail strategies</li></ul>
<ul><li>Must have strong work ethic</li></ul>
<ul><li>Exceptional attention to detail.
</li></ul><ul><li>Experience with PC and MAC computers strongly desired</li></ul>
<ul><li>Copywriting experience and familiarity with home improvement products helpful</li></ul>
<ul><li>Must have basic computer skills and strong organizational skills</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ability to meet strict deadlines is essential</li></ul>
<ul><li>Must be detail oriented</li></ul>
<ul><li>Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe PhotoShop preferred, but not required</li></ul>
<ul><li>Must be available to work 40 hours/week, plus overtime as needed</li></ul>
<ul><li>Must be willing to relocate to Eau Claire, WI as position is in person.</li></ul></div>

Position Summary:

Menards is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented person to fill our Office Assistant role. This position performs a wide variety of administrative, accounting, and support duties such as filing, photocopying, processing mail and file maintenance. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Answering multiple line phone system with good phone etiquette, transferring calls, and taking and delivering messages</li>
<li>Daily communication with stores and vendors regarding security and alarms</li>
<li>Use of Microsoft Office and other software</li>
<li>Maintaining calendars and scheduling</li>
<li>Processing weekly payroll/time cards/time-off requests</li>
<li>Handling account payables</li>
<li>Processing a variety of reports</li>
<li>Create routing templates and status reports for the manager</li>
<li>Writing and Processing of Purchase Orders</li>
<li>Any other duties as requested</li>
</ul>
QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Above average keyboard and 10-key skills</li>
<li>Excellent problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Knowledgeable in security software, Lotus and Microsoft Office Programs&ndash; Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint</li>
<li>A Team Player- constant collaboration with others involved including Team Members, Managers and Outside Vendors</li>
<li>Must be able to work 40 hours/week</li>
