 About The Opportunity
 
 
 
 Mendaera is looking for a
 
 Procurement
 
 
 Lead
 
 who will be responsible for multiple aspects of procurement and material planning for Mendaera&rsquo;s Supply Chain - including purchasing activities, inventory management, cost management, and forecast management. This role will report to the Director of Supply Chain. They will work closely with internal stakeholders and external parties as needed to develop business systems and planning processes that will lay a strong foundation for scaling our business. This position is preferred be on-site, but hybrid applicants will also be considered.
 
 
 The annual salary range for this role is $115,000 to $133,000.

 Responsibilities Include
 
 
 
 Material Planning &amp; Order Management
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Manage Purchase Orders to support Mendaera business demand
 </li>
 <li>
 Create, analyze, and manage RFQs with suppliers for new orders
 </li>
 <li>
 Negotiate with suppliers to improve prices and terms of business, and provide analysis on cost reduction activities
 </li>
 <li>
 Support Sales &amp; Operations Planning process(es) &amp; as needed, drive supply/demand balancing exercises
 </li>
 <li>
 Collect Material Requirements Planning (MRP) inputs &amp; support ERP data integrity - BOM accuracy, planning parameters, etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Supply Chain, Inventory, Finance, Logistics, Sales) on inputs to POs
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop &amp; monitor KPIs to assess delivery order performance
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company guidelines, purchasing policies, and regulatory requirements
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain accurate records of all purchases, contracts, deliveries, and supplier performance
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 Process Management &amp; Improvement
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams about our ERP system, component-level details, production schedules, commercial forecasts &ndash; to support an optimized order schedule and process
 </li>
 <li>
 Collect feedback on ordering processes and iterate with a goal to improve &amp; support the business as it scales
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Required Skills And Experience
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
 </li>
 <li>
 5 years of experience in related roles
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with complex supply chains &amp; managing multiple Products/Projects at once
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to zoom into details &amp; zoom out to assess bigger picture topics
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across different functional groups
 </li>
 <li>
 Commitment to accuracy and precision under tight deadlines
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent relationship management &amp; cross-team collaboration skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Willingness to work in a fast-paced, startup company environment
 </li>

 Experience working in the medical device industry
 </li>

 Experience with Finance/budget management, spend management
