As a family-owned and operated business, Mera's success has been driven by our core values: Passion, Integrity, Trust, Excellence and Respect.&quot;Job Summary-Mera is seeking a skilled and proactive Storage &amp; Purchasing Supervisor to lead the sourcing, purchasing, and distribution logistics of food, beverages, and operational supplies for our restaurant concessions at RDU International Airport. This is a high-impact, hands-on role responsible for ensuring product consistency, supply continuity, and operational efficiency across multiple high-volume outlets in a fast-paced, secure airport environment.The ideal candidate is a seasoned supply chain professional with deep experience in foodservice logistics, vendor management, and airports time-sensitive operations. You&rsquo;ll play a key role in supporting our culinary and operations teams by streamlining procurement processes, improving cost efficiency, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and setting SOPs (standard operation practices).If you&rsquo;re passionate about great food, thrive in dynamic environments, and are driven by results and collaboration&mdash;this is the opportunity to make a major impact in one of the world&rsquo;s busiest airports.Responsibilities-Procurement &amp; Vendor Management<ul><li>Source food, beverage, packaging, and kitchen supplies in compliance with each brand and Mera&rsquo;s standards</li><li>Negotiate prices, terms, delivery schedules with vendors and contracted services</li><li>Ensure vendors meet food safety and airport compliance standards</li><li>Verify that received products meet agreed quality and specifications</li></ul>Logistics &amp; Distribution<ul><li>Oversee delivery logistics team across the terminal and its outlets</li><li>Coordinate dock schedules and work with 3PLs and customs, if needed</li><li>Manage cold chain integrity and transport of perishables</li></ul>Inventory &amp; Demand Planning<ul><li>Manage master inventory count across all units and identify potential variances</li><li>Forecast demand in collaboration with Operations team and culinary teams</li><li>Minimize waste and ensure FIFO inventory practices</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Maintain compliance with airport security and health regulations (HACCP, FDA, USDA)</li><li>Keep accurate procurement records and vendor files</li><li>Conduct quality control checks and vendor performance audits</li></ul>&middot; Model the behaviors of Mera (Purpose, Vision, Results) and values of Mera (Passion, Integrity, Trust, Excellence, Respect)Budgeting &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Manage and monitor procurement budgets</li><li>Track key procurement KPIs and report to senior leadership</li><li>Analyze spending trends to improve efficiency and reduce costs</li></ul>Qualifications-<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field</li><li>5+ years of experience in foodservice procurement/logistics (airport or hospitality preferred)</li><li>Strong knowledge of ERP, POS, and inventory software (e.g., Toast, NetSuite, Marketman, SAP)</li><li>Experience in logistics and supply chain management</li><li>Familiarity with airport operations and regulatory environments</li><li>Excellent negotiation, planning, and communication skills</li><li>Ability to obtain airport security clearance (SIDA badge or equivalent)</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>HACCP, Food Handlers card</li><li>Experience working with branded or franchise restaurant concepts</li><li>Knowledge of sustainable sourcing and eco-friendly packaging practices</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From $22.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Food &amp; beverage industry: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Shift availability:<ul><li>Day Shift (Preferred)</li><li>Night Shift (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Morrisville, NC 27560 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
