<div>Warehouse Inventory Specialist
Job summary:
The Inventory Control Specialist will maintain the company&rsquo;s inventory by performing inventory checks, cycle counts, quality checks on outbound orders and perform random counts on inbound freight to ensure accuracy.
Primary duties:<ul><li>
Develop expert abilities using the company&rsquo;s WMS</li><li>
Count materials in stock and work with Customer Service Representative to update inventory records.</li><li>
Compare inventory with previous records, compute figures from previous records such as inbounds and shipments.</li><li>
Work with various warehouse teams on correctly entering storage data, training on system requirements, collaborate with IT on system improvements.</li><li>
Verify computer data with physical count of stock and adjust errors. Investigate and report reasons for discrepancies.</li><li>
Quality check orders for accuracy before they are labeled</li><li>
Quality check labels placed on cartons for item number and correct placement on carton</li><li>
Report cycle count performance to management</li><li>
Maintain cleanliness in warehouse as needed</li><li>
Performs other duties/projects as needed</li></ul>
Required skills/abilities:<ul><li>
Excellent communication skills with warehouse workers, customers, management</li><li>
Previous experience with inventory control, cycle counts, inventory procedures</li><li>
Ability to perform basic math calculations</li><li>
Experience with MS outlook and excel programs</li><li>
Strong clerical skills</li><li>
Detail oriented</li><li>
Ability to work with minimal supervision</li></ul> 
Education and Experience:<ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent required</li><li>
Experience with computerized inventory system in a warehouse environment required</li><li>
At least one year cycle counting experience required</li><li>
Forklift and/or reach lift certification</li></ul> 
Physical Requirements:<ul><li>
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and navigate warehouse by lifting, standing, climbing, bending, pulling, pushing, to reach items both high and low</li><li>
Frequent use of forklift and/or reach lift</li><li>
Must be comfortable with heights</li><li>
Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted at times</li></ul></div>
