POSITION SUMMARY:
We currently have openings in the operations department for the following positions: (Shifts hours are from 5 pm -5 am)
GBW Operator-Galvanizing before weaving<ul><li>Move materials through the process tanks and zinc kettles</li><li>Align and secure holding fixtures, attachments, accessories, or materials on machines</li><li>Transfer metal into a furnace</li><li>Measure, examine, or test completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using</li></ul>
precision instruments, such as micrometers<ul><li>Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process</li><li>Maintain the surrounding area, keeping the area free of debris</li></ul>
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required</li><li>
Follow established safety procedures when performing tasks and/or working with equipment.</li><li>
Read work instructions and set up machines as required to run different product sizes.</li><li>
Stand or walk for the entire shift and use arms and back to perform the tasks associated with the role.</li><li>
Must be able to work overtime as required with Saturday availability.</li></ul>
Requirements:

NECESSARY SKILLS, BACKGROUND &amp; COMPETENCIES:<ul><li>
Minimum one year of work experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.</li><li>
Must be able to work in a team-based, positive, fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Must be able to understand written instructions and follow procedures.</li><li>
Must be able and willing to work 5 PM-5 AM MON-SAT. Employees average at least 40 hours a week, no more than 50.</li><li>
High School Diploma or GED preferred</li><li>

GBW Operator-2nd shift

<div>Description:

The Branch Operations Manager is a dynamic position responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the operations of the service center. This position is responsible for safety, transaction quality, inventory accuracy, facility maintenance, yard productivity, and administration through the implementation of standard operating procedures.
Requirements:

Responsibilities<ul><li>
Create and maintain a safe work environment through training, inspection, and corrective action.</li><li>
Create, implement, and sustain required standard operating procedures.</li><li>
Measure performance using metrics against pre-defined goals in areas such as safety, inventory accuracy, equipment inspection, and all other areas.</li><li>
Resolve issues within the material flow of the branch and implement procedures to ensure that transactions flow accurately 100% of the time.</li><li>
Foster alignment with Functional Support Departments.</li><li>
Ensure proper stocking, movement, and loading of material.</li><li>
Manage or complete daily managerial duties such as facility and equipment maintenance and repair, OSHA requirements, safety training, etc.</li><li>
Manage staffing at the branch, including controlling and minimizing labor overtime.</li><li>
Manage transaction accuracy by making sure each day&rsquo;s transactions are updated in the system the day during which they occur and ensuring performance goals are met in this functional area.</li><li>
Other responsibilities as requested.</li></ul>
Supervisory Responsibility<ul><li>
The position manages yard and delivery personnel. This position is responsible for ensuring alignment between the branch and the functional support departments.</li></ul>

The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch.</li><li>

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.</li></ul> 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &amp; ABILITIES<ul><li>
Strong communication, problem solving and decision-making skills to effectively resolve customer and employee issues.</li><li>

Detail oriented, strong organization skills and a high degree of accuracy with the ability to work independently.</li><li>
Ability to use Internet, Outlook, MS Office, and position specific software as required.</li></ul>
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE<ul><li>
Five years in Customer Service, Operations or Operations Management</li><li>
Good Computer skills, Proficient in Excel</li><li>
High School Degree</li><li>
Experience in directly managing people.</li></ul>
