Job Title: MRD Technician Location: Kottayam, Thalayolaparambu Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Required: Minimum 2 YearsJob Summary:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Records Department (MRD) Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical records management and be responsible for maintaining, organizing, and protecting patient medical records in compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Maintain and update patient medical records in an accurate, secure, and timely manner.</li><li>Ensure proper coding, indexing, and filing of medical records.</li><li>Retrieve records for physicians, nurses, and authorized personnel as requested.</li><li>Assist in maintaining confidentiality and security of patient information in compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies.</li><li>Coordinate with various hospital departments to ensure completeness and accuracy of records.</li><li>Participate in audits and quality checks of medical records.</li><li>Support digital transformation and electronic medical record (EMR) initiatives if applicable.</li><li>Handle patient record requests and release of information following appropriate procedures.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Diploma in Medical Records Technology (DMRT)</li><li>B.Sc. in Medical Records Technology</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a Medical Records Technician in a hospital or healthcare setting.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Diploma or Certification in Medical Records Technology or</li><li>B.Sc. in Medical Records Technology</li><li>Familiarity with hospital documentation practices and basic medical terminology.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.</li></ul>Interested candidates may submit their updated CV and relevant documents to hrmercyhospitalpothy@gmail.com.Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;10,000.00 - &#8377;20,000.00 per monthLanguage:<ul><li>English (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
