The ICU Manager is a Registered Nurse responsible for 24-hour administrative oversight of all critical care nursing services. This role provides leadership for patient care delivery, staff supervision, and departmental operations while ensuring compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.</div><div></div><div><br>
The ICU Manager is a visible, hands-on leader who rounds daily, supporting staff, monitoring care delivery, and maintaining close collaboration with physicians and nursing leadership. This position works in consultation with the CNO/DON to address clinical issues, interpret policies, and ensure patient needs are consistently met.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Provide 24-hour administrative leadership for ICU operations and critical care nursing services.</li><li>
Supervise, evaluate, and support ICU staff, ensuring appropriate utilization of personnel and resources.</li><li>
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care delivery to meet clinical standards and patient needs.</li><li>
Conduct daily rounding to maintain visibility, support staff, and monitor patient care and unit operations.</li><li>
Develop and implement departmental plans, including performance improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance activities.</li><li>
Serve as a primary point of consultation for staff, physicians, and nursing leadership regarding nursing practice and policy interpretation.</li><li>
Communicate effectively with staff, physicians, and administration through clear verbal and written communication.</li><li>
Maintain accountability to the CNO/DON for unit performance, quality outcomes, and operational effectiveness.</li></ul>
Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING</div><div></div><div><br>
1. Must have a current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.</div><div>
2. BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.<br>
3. A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience necessary.<br>
4. Minimum of three years of continuous clinical experience in a clinical/acute care setting.<br>
5. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.</div><div>
6. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), required for all hires after 1/11/2021.</div><div>

The Director of Nursing (DON) is a hands-on, detail-oriented nursing leader overseeing ED, ICU, MST, and all inpatient units. This role drives patient safety, quality improvement, clinical excellence, and operational efficiency through daily rounding and a visible presence on the units.</div><div></div><div><br>
Partnering with the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), the DON leverages the VERGE system to identify trends, develop workflows, and implement solutions, ensuring measurable improvements across hospital operations. A proactive change agent, the DON mentors staff, fosters accountability, champions patient-centered care, and cultivates a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Experience in ED, inpatient care, or sterile processing is highly preferred.</div>
Responsibilities:

The Director of Clinical Laboratory provides leadership for the administrative, technical, financial, quality, compliance, and personnel functions of clinical laboratory services. This role oversees one or multiple laboratory departments and ensures services are delivered in accordance with hospital policy, system standards, and regulatory requirements.</div><div></div><div><br>
The Director partners with local laboratory leadership and Corporate Laboratory Operations to support standardized practices, system integration, and performance outcomes. This position maintains a hands-on presence, provides operational guidance, and supports laboratory operations as needed, including performing routine testing.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Direct overall laboratory operations, including administrative management, technical oversight, quality assurance, compliance, and staffing.</li><li>
Ensure ongoing regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal requirements, including CLIA, CAP, and The Joint Commission (TJC).</li><li>
Support system-wide standardization and integration of laboratory policies, procedures, LIS, instrumentation, supplies, and quality processes.</li><li>
Collaborate with Corporate Laboratory Operations Leadership on policies, procedures, equipment, supplies, and laboratory information systems.</li><li>
Lead quality improvement and performance monitoring, ensuring laboratories meet or exceed established financial, quality, and service KPIs.</li><li>
Maintain accountability for financial performance, including budgeting, productivity, and cost management.</li><li>
Provide direct operational support, including performing routine laboratory testing as needed.</li><li>
Supervise and develop laboratory personnel, ensuring appropriate staffing, competency, and performance management.</li><li>
Manage special projects and system initiatives, ensuring completion within established timelines.</li></ul>
Qualifications:

1. Bachelor of Science degree in a scientific field to meet requirements of Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act (CLIA).<br>
2. Possession of a valid license or certificate of Clinical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist, ASCP preferred<br>
3. Minimum 5 years supervisory clinical laboratory experience required.<br>
4. General Accounting and statistics and financial operating experience<br>
5. Quality Control and quality tools management courses desired<br>
6. LEAN Six Sigma certification preferred<br>
7. Master&rsquo;s Degree preferred.</div><div>
