Join Our Team!We are a busy, patient-focused oral surgery practice seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Part-Time Insurance Verification &amp; Billing Coordinator to join our administrative team. If you have experience with dental or medical insurance, enjoy problem-solving, and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment, we'd love to hear from you.Responsibilities<ul><li>Verify dental and medical insurance benefits and eligibility prior to patient appointments.</li><li>Obtain and document pre-authorizations when required.</li><li>Accurately estimate patient financial responsibility.</li><li>Submit dental and medical insurance claims.</li><li>Follow up on outstanding claims, denials, and requests for additional information.</li><li>Post insurance payments and reconcile accounts.</li><li>Communicate professionally with insurance carriers, referring offices, and patients.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation within the practice management system.</li><li>Assist with other front office duties as needed (i.e. scheduling, collecting copays, returning patient calls)</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience with dental and/or medical insurance verification and billing is required.</li><li>Oral surgery, dental specialty, or healthcare billing experience preferred.</li><li>Strong understanding of dental and medical insurance plans, claim submission, and explanation of benefits (EOBs).</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Strong communication and customer service skills.</li><li>Ability to multitask and work independently.</li><li>Experience with dental practice management software is a plus (WinOMS).</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>Competitive hourly pay based on experience.</li><li>Supportive, team-oriented work environment.</li><li>Flexible part-time schedule.</li><li>Opportunity to grow within a respected specialty practice.</li></ul>If you're organized, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional service while ensuring accurate insurance processing and billing, we encourage you to apply.
