PRIMARY PURPOSE:</b></div><ul><li>
To help organize and maintain the Athletic Department which consist of student athletes, coaches, five high schools and ten middle schools, under the supervision of the Executive Director/Athletics.</li><li>
To assist the office manager with secretarial and office functions and to ensure the athletic office runs smoothly and effectively. Responsibilities include proficiency in office procedures, computer technology, office machines, and communications skills in public relations.</li></ul><div></div><div><br>
 <b>Education/Certification:</b></div><ul><li>
High School Diploma</li></ul><div></div><div><br>
 <b>Special Knowledge/Skills:</b></div><ul><li>
Knowledge of basic secretarial and office skills with ability to take directions and work well with people.</li><li>
Ability to assist in managing and coordinating the logistics for athletic events for the students of MISD.</li><li>
Exhibit highly effective organizational and consensus building skills.</li><li>
Knowledge and understanding of technology and its use to enhance district efficiency and the ability to meet deadlines.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
 Experience:</b></div><ul><li>
Appropriate clerical and secretarial experience with an understanding of business procedures is required skills to perform job in an efficient manner.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:</b></div><ul><li>
Maintain Payroll and issue requisitions for all officials, security guards, nurses and game workers for all sports.</li><li>
Inform stadium manager, announcers, workers and nurses concerning all schedule changes and assist with online ticketing.</li><li>
Update pay scale for game workers and officials for all sports and distribute to administrators, head coaches and stadium managers.</li><li>
Assist in organizing and maintaining Coaches Handbook and Manual.</li><li>
Set up and coordinate end of year and beginning of year meetings.</li><li>
UIL DEC paperwork and secretarial responsibilities</li><li>
Secure and coordinate all athletic schedules, game reports and other forms for all sports.</li><li>
Communicate with administrators, instructional officers, principals, coaches, band directors, parents, patrons and personnel in other districts.</li><li>
Maintain all office files.</li><li>
Work with office staff and collaborate on Facilities and Budget as directed by the Executive Director  Athletics</li><li>
Available when opportunities arise to support athletic events on evenings and weekends including games, Hall of Honor, etc

Assist office manager with monitoring, managing, and maintaining the accounts for the athletic office and the 5 HS's.</li><li><div>
Perform other duties as assigned.</div></li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
