Job Title: Mechanical Engineer &ndash; Interiors Finishing &amp; Fit-OutsLocation: Based in UAE, with frequent travel across GCC &amp; Levant project sitesLanguage Requirement: Arabic speakerTiming: Immediate joiners will get preference but reasonable notice period is acceptable (30days)Job PurposeThe Mechanical Engineer will oversee and execute mechanical engineering works related to interiors finishing and fit-out projects, ensuring high-quality delivery, compliance with technical standards, and alignment with client expectations. The role requires hands-on coordination with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to deliver seamless MEP integration into luxury interior projects across GCC and Levant.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Plan, supervise, and manage all mechanical works for interiors finishing and fit-out projects, including HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and specialized MEP services.</li><li>Coordinate closely with architects, interior designers, civil engineers, and MEP coordinators to ensure technical drawings are interpreted and executed correctly on site.</li><li>Ensure installations meet high-end project requirements in quality, safety, and detailing.</li><li>Prepare BOQs, technical submittals, shop drawings, and review material specifications for compliance.</li><li>Monitor project progress and conduct quality inspections to avoid rework and abortive works.</li><li>Lead site coordination with subcontractors, ensuring work sequences are aligned with finishing works (e.g., joinery, flooring, ceiling, stone cladding, etc.).</li><li>Support procurement by identifying suitable suppliers/vendors, conducting technical evaluations, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.</li><li>Ensure compliance with local authority regulations in UAE, KSA, and other GCC/Levant markets.</li><li>Travel across GCC and Levant sites to monitor, troubleshoot, and report on project progress.</li><li>Prepare weekly progress reports and escalate risks/delays with solutions to project managers.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).</li><li>5&ndash;8 years&rsquo; experience in interiors finishing and fit-out projects, preferably high-end residential, hospitality, or commercial developments.</li><li>Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, drainage, fire-fighting, and building management systems.</li><li>Proven experience in GCC projects; exposure to Saudi Arabia &amp; Levant projects preferred.</li><li>Strong AutoCAD and Revit MEP skills; familiarity with MS Project/Primavera is a plus.</li><li>Arabic and English fluency is mandatory (written &amp; spoken).</li><li>Valid UAE driving license preferred; willing to travel extensively within GCC &amp; Levant.</li></ul>Functional Competencies<ul><li>Technical expertise in MEP design, installation, and commissioning.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret detailed technical drawings and translate into site execution.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities under pressure.</li><li>Communication and stakeholder management with clients, consultants, and site teams.</li><li>Project planning, sequencing, and resource coordination.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: AED15,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>what is your notice period? </li><li>what is your current salary per month in AED?</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>Arabic?
