Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Perform repairs, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting for all electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems to support both production and non-production related equipment in accordance with established standards.
</li><li>Manages equipment calibrations, programmable device configurations and systems hardware to resolve maintenance issues, improve equipment reliability, minimize equipment downtime and support improvement activities for productivity and yield enhancement.
</li><li>Recommends and enforces maintenance safety requirements.
</li><li>Under general supervision, coordinates the maintenance of inventories of commonly used items to maximize maintenance storage and prevent stocking of seldom used goods.
</li><li>Develop and manage outside contractor and vendor relationships.
</li><li>Perform preventive maintenance, including but not limited to: lubricating machines.</li><li>
Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to assign work orders to Maintenance Technicians.</li><li>
Generates daily work logs to track work orders and status of ongoing project assignments to ensure department resources are appropriately utilized.</li><li>
Recommends and enforces maintenance.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards.</li><li>
Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>High School Diploma or Equivalent.</li><li>
Maintenance experience, ideally in a rotational molding shop preferred, but not required.</li><li>
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and abilities to analyze a wide variety of equipment troubleshoot problems and assess maintenance needs.</li><li>
Demonstrated working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and controls aspects of Robotic equipment.</li><li>
Working knowledge of electrical circuits, PLC troubleshooting, repair and programming.</li><li>
Demonstrated detail orientation, self-motivation skills and ability to multi-task.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.</li></ul>

Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift (Horicon)

Reporting to the Assembly Supervisor, the Assembly Lead is primarily responsible for assisting the Supervisor in overseeing the Assembly Line. This person may perform all aspects of the Assembly Line such as assembling parts, as well as give instruction to the assemblers assigned to the lines. This role is responsible for acting as a good role model for the rest of the department and for keeping the department organized and clean.</p><div></div><div><br>

Assist the Supervisor in directing and assisting in the work activities assemblers.</li><li>
Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.</li><li>
Will coordinate orders with material handling and work with Production Control to assure orders are ready for assembly.</li><li>
Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.</li><li>
Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.</li><li>
Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.</li><li>
Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.</li><li>
Provide input on schedule to ensure maximum efficiency and on time delivery is met.</li><li>
Keep informed of any changes and new procedures throughout the day to stay on schedule</li><li>
Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.</li><li>
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.</li><li>
Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.</li><li>
Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.</li><li>
Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.</li><li>
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.</li><li>
