 About the Role
 
 
 
 We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to support the growth of standalone O&amp;M contracts and PPP-based projects within the water and wastewater sector in Qatar and the wider regional market.
 
 
 The ideal candidate will combine strong business development capabilities with operational knowledge, bringing hands-on experience across the full O&amp;M project lifecycle &mdash; from proposal preparation and contract negotiation to mobilization and operational delivery.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities

 &bull; Identify and develop new business opportunities in O&amp;M and PPP projects within the water and wastewater sector
 
 
 &bull; Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company objectives and growth targets
 
 
 &bull; Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, developers, government entities, consultants, off-takers, and financiers
 
 
 &bull; Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals, including pricing models, risk assessments, and transition plans
 
 
 &bull; Conduct market research and monitor industry trends, competitor activity, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies
 
 
 &bull; Lead contract negotiations while ensuring profitability, operational feasibility, and effective risk management
 
 
 &bull; Coordinate with O&amp;M and internal teams to ensure smooth project handover, mobilization, execution, and operational startup
 
 
 &bull; Manage CRM systems, monitor pipeline performance, report on KPIs, win rates, profitability, and support overall sales growth
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications &amp; Experience
 
 
 
 &bull; Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
 
 
 &bull; Minimum 10 years of experience in business development and proposal preparation within the water &amp; wastewater industry
 
 
 &bull; Strong technical knowledge of water treatment plants, including RO Plants, STP, and wastewater treatment facilities
 
 
 &bull; Proven experience in O&amp;M projects and PPP frameworks in Qatar and/or Saudi Arabia
 
 
 &bull; Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
 
 
 &bull; Strong understanding of the regional water sector and regulatory environment
 
 
 &bull; Arabic speaker preferred; Fluency in English is required
