We are a fast paced and upwardly mobile company that offers quick decision making with the highest level of customer service in the industry.Trailer Technician Job Requirements &amp; Duties:- Effectively diagnose and repair the following components:- Suspension and running gear- Landing gear assembly- Wheel, hub, and tire assemblies- Brake, air, ABS, and air ride systems- Electrical lighting and wiring components- Rear frame and door assembly- Side, nose, and roof components- Interior and floor components- Interior and floor components- Able to thoroughly perform Preventative Maintenance inspections a repairs and complete proper forms- Maintains high level of welding and metal fabrication skills- Perform road service calls as needed- Assist and perform duties of other technicians as needed- Perform other duties as needed- Maintain a clean and safe work area and environment- This is an In-Shop Position that may require infrequent or frequent travel to service calls. Most work days will be spent in a full bay shop.Knowledge/ Requirements&middot; Possess personal knowledge and skills to perform preventative maintenance on48ft, 53ft and flatbed trailers and be qualified to complete FHWA inspections.&middot; Properly diagnose and complete necessary repairs, including air brake systemsand electrical systems.&middot; Inventory Control&middot; Work well consistently in a team environment, or alone.&middot; Applicant must own all personal tools required to perform the job and will berequired to acquire necessary hand tools as needed.&middot; Valid Driver&rsquo;s license/ Clean MVR/Reliable TransportationPhysical Requirements&middot; Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb ladders and stairs, stand, walk,and turn/pivot frequently throughout the duration of the workday.&middot; Lift, lower, push, pull, leverage and manipulate equipment weighing up to 100pounds&middot; Simple hand grasping, power hand grasping, fine hand manipulation, reachingfrom foot level to above shoulder level as necessary to complete assigned tasksJob Type&middot; Hourly Full-timeSchedule5 Days A Week &ndash; 8 Hours A Day MiniumWork Remotely- NoJob Type: Full-timeDriver&rsquo;s License:- RequiredBenefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Referral programSchedule: 8 hour shift Monday to FridayEducation: High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience: related: 2 years (Preferred)License/Certification:Work Location: One locationJob Type: Full-timePay: From $19.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Referral program</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Dallas, TX 75217 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
