Material Handler
 The Material Handler works as a member of a team to move finished product from production to various on-site locations.
 RESPONSIBILITIES
 <ul>
<li>Prepare product, trailer, and ground to safely unload product • Effectively communicate with truck drivers, overhead crane and travel crane operations • Loading of trailers • Unloading trailers • Proper dunnage placement • Load leveling • Properly sequence loads onto trailer • Identify and report damaged or defective product • Off load list, locate pieces of concrete product identified as being shipped that day • Work with mi-jack crane operator in safely proceeding to product’s location • Rig product to be lifted as needed • Set timbers on trailer in preparation for product loading • Unhook rigging on product once laid on trailer correctly • Work as a part of a team assisting others as needed • Must adhere to all Metromont and OSHA safety regulations and policies • Ability to operate tablet to identify items to be loaded or offloaded • Housekeeping as necessary to maintain work area, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner</li>

 EDUCATION AND TECHNOLOGY • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred • 1-2 years of previous general construction or material handling experience preferred WORK ENVIRONMENT / SCHEDULE • Monday-Friday • Outdoor environment • Work area is not climate controlled and may be exposed to changing weather and temperature conditions • Unscheduled overtime may be required depending on production needs

 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This position requires standing for long periods of time, lifting (up to 75 lbs.) and bending, repetitive motion with medium force, and an ability to frequently climb up to 15 feet above ground using stairs.

POSITION PURPOSE
 As a member of the Learning and Development team, the Instructional Designer curates, creates, maintains, and delivers training content.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
 <ul>
<li>Design, develop and deploy instructional materials for learners and instructors including presentations, e-learning courses and modules, videos, print and digital job aids and materials for various audiences.</li>
<li>Evaluate and improve effectiveness of existing instructional materials.</li>
<li>Collaborate with LMS Administrator to create, deliver, and maintain instructional materials related to the use of the LMS.</li>
<li>Create and maintain digital libraries of training records, e-learning content, policies, and procedures.</li>
<li>Leverage internal project management tools and templates and adhere to internal guidelines and protocols for developing and publishing custom content.</li>
<li>Conduct skill assessments, evaluate metrics, and collect information to identify learning needs, goals, gaps, and effectiveness.</li>
<li>Partner with subject matter experts to define learning objectives, design appropriate training solutions and to ensure existing training materials are relevant to current needs.</li>
<li>Assist other departments with training initiatives as needed.</li>
<li>Research and collaborate with vendors as needed to curate third-party content, outsource content development, or deliver training.</li>
<li>Backup point of contact for LMS user support.</li>
<li>Test software and e-learning content as needed.</li>
<li>Conduct research on various topics as requested.</li>
<li>Update and distribute standard communications to various internal audiences.</li>
<li>Operate various office machines such as copiers and scanners.</li>
<li>Attend, participate and/or prepare for live training events as needed.</li>
<li>Provide support for special projects as needed.</li>
<li>Assume personal responsibility for projects as assigned and follow-through to completion.</li>
<li>Address or escalate issues as needed.</li>
<li>Provide feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement.</li>
<li>Keep abreast of new and emerging instructional technologies.</li>
<li>Must adhere to all Metromont and OSHA safety rules and regulations.</li>

EDUCATION AND TECHNOLOGY
 
Required: 
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or GED equivalent</li>
<li>Experience using Learning Management Systems</li>
<li>Experience with content creation software such as Adobe Creative Cloud products, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia</li>
<li>Advance knowledge of all Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint</li>
</ul>
Preferred: 
<ul>
<li>Experience with project management and managing multiple, simultaneous tasks</li>
<li>Experience with Microsoft 365, Teams, and mobile technology</li>
<li>Bachelor's degree in instructional or educational technology, organizational design, HR management or similar discipline, or three (3) years of directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience</li>
<li>Experience working in manufacturing, construction, or other industrial setting</li>
<li>Working knowledge of instructional design models and adult learning methodologies</li>
</ul>
WORK ENVIRONMENT / SCHEDULE
 <ul>
<li>Monday – Thursday, 8:00am – 5:00pm; Friday 8:00am – 3:00pm</li>
<li>Works in an open office (cubicle) environment</li>
<li>No travel required</li>
