We are seeking a Global Category Manager for the components category to join the Procurement team in the Metso Aggregates Business Area.
 
As a Global Category Manager, you will have the responsibility for the procurement and supplier management of our components category globally within the Aggregates business area. You also lead the components category team globally within the business area, directly or in a matrix.
 
You will be responsible for global vendors over the commercial components, engineered components, electrification, and automation within the Aggregates business area. You will also lead sourcing category strategy development, deployment, and supplier management to deliver maximized total cost of ownership savings and to secure competitiveness within the category.
 
You will maintain and improve supplier relationships and be responsible for suppliers’ quality and delivery performance. You will manage existing suppliers and their contracts and negotiate new contracts when needed.
 
You will ensure compliance with our procurement policies and develop procurement’s performance. You will work closely with category responsible persons in our supply chain, engineering, product management, R&D, and Global Procurement teams within Metso.
 
This role requires traveling 10-40% of the work schedule. Position location is in Tampere or Espoo, Finland. Macon, France, or Alwar, India.
 
What you’ll do
 
To succeed in this role, you need to have already several years of experience in procurement, preferably in an international business environment. You have a good understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management. Experience in a similar industry and business environment, particularly in category management, is an advantage. You can lead and drive people in a positive way to high-performing results and achievements. You are also interested in components, technical details, and industrial business. You have also participated in agreement negotiations and are familiar with contract management. You have an excellent ability to make strategic analysis, planning, recommendations and drive those into results, also get people moving in the same direction. You also have great skills to drive forward component changes and improvements in our organization.
 
Your workstyle is self-reliant, accountable, and determined. You have an analytical mindset, and you do not hesitate to reach ambitious targets. Your collaboration and communication skills are great, and you have convincing negotiating and influencing skills.
 
Who you are
 
Minimum 5 years’ experience in sourcing or procurement
 Excellent negotiations and cooperation skills in English when working with external companies or internally
 Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (e.g., in engineering or in business)
 Fluency in the English language. Finnish skills are a plus.
 Good IT skills with MS Office tools and practical experience with ERP systems (materials management, sourcing, purchasing)
 Ability to travel 10-40% of the work time

Introduction
 
We are seeking an Engineer for Mechanical maintenance related work to supports in Ahmedabad foundry unit, you will be responsible for Mechanical maintenance related work.
 
Team You Belong To
 
You will be part of the Foundry Maintenance Team, which plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of mechanical systems and equipment across the foundry operations.
 We work closely with Production, Quality, Electrical Maintenance, and Safety teams to maintain high standards of equipment performance, minimize downtime, and support sustainable manufacturing practices.
 
What You'll Do
 
Lead and support preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for foundry equipment such as induction furnaces, mold handling systems, sand reclamation units, and cooling systems.
 Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, reduce breakdowns, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement mechanical improvements that enhance process reliability, energy efficiency, and safety.
 Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) for recurring mechanical issues, ensuring long-term solutions are implemented.
 Support capital projects and equipment upgrades, including specification, installation, commissioning, and documentation.
 Maintain and update mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance records using digital tools and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
 Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and internal policies during maintenance and repair activities.
 Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing.
 Train and mentor junior technicians and operators on mechanical systems, maintenance best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
 Coordinate with vendors and service providers for outsourced maintenance, spare parts procurement, and technical support.
 Contribute to sustainability goals by optimizing energy usage, reducing waste, and supporting green manufacturing initiatives.
 Be available for emergency maintenance and support during critical production periods, including occasional weekend or holiday shifts.
 
Who You Are
 
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
 2–4 years or diploma 3-6years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance within a foundry or heavy manufacturing environment.
 Strong knowledge of foundry equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, pumps, and mechanical systems.
 Familiarity with CMMS platforms and digital maintenance tools for scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
 Skilled in interpreting mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and technical documentation.
 Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical faults under time-sensitive conditions.
 Understanding of safety protocols, risk assessments, and statutory compliance related to mechanical maintenance.
 Exposure to TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
 Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
 Willingness to work in a dynamic, high-temperature environment and adapt to changing priorities.
 Ability to lead small teams and manage contractors during maintenance shutdowns or project execution.

Metso Saudi Arabia is looking for Metallurgist to be responsible for optimizing metallurgical performance across the flotation, POX, CIL, and LG CIL circuits of the gold processing plant. The role focuses on reagent management, concentrate quality, recovery maximization, and effective leaching performance. The Metallurgist provides technical oversight, conducts test work, and ensures day-to-day operational adjustments are made to achieve stable, efficient, and safe operation.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
Oversee and monitor flotation, POX, CIL, and LG CIL performance to ensure alignment with production and recovery targets.
 Control and adjust reagent addition rates (collectors, frothers, modifiers, lime, cyanide, oxygen, carbon) to balance mass pull, recovery, and concentrate grade.
 
Monitor flotation performance, focusing on: 
Mass pull and concentrate grade to achieve optimal balance between gold recovery and downstream processing requirements.
 Froth stability, air flow rates, and cell level control.
 Reagent dosage efficiency and cost control.
 
Oversee CIL and LG CIL operations, including: 
Carbon inventory and activity, carbon safety screening, and carbon transfer efficiency.
 Leaching kinetics, pH control, dissolved oxygen, and cyanide concentration.
 Tail grade monitoring to minimize gold losses.
 Lime addition and pH stability across CIL tanks.
 Support POX integration by ensuring flotation concentrate quality is suitable for autoclave feed.
 Conduct metallurgical test work and plant trials to evaluate new reagents, optimize dosage, improve flotation kinetics, or enhance leach recovery. This includes bench-scale flotation tests, bottle roll leach tests, and pilot trials.
 Work closely with laboratory and operations teams to ensure all required assays are performed, such as:
 Gold head grade, concentrate grade, and tailings assays.
 Carbon activity and gold adsorption isotherms.
 Cyanide strength, free/weak acid dissociable (WAD) cyanide, and residual lime.
 Identify and troubleshoot process upsets or inefficiencies, recommending corrective actions to operations.
 Analyze metallurgical data, prepare daily and monthly reports, and highlight trends in recovery, reagent consumption, and circuit stability.
 Drive continuous improvement initiatives in flotation and leaching to maximize recovery, reduce cost, and support sustainable plant performance.
 Ensure compliance with site safety and environmental standards, particularly around cyanide and chemical handling.
 
Qualifications & Experience
 
Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
 5+ years’ experience in gold processing with exposure to flotation, CIL, and hydrometallurgical operations.
 Strong knowledge of flotation chemistry, reagent interactions, and leach kinetics.
 Hands-on experience in reagent trials, plant sampling campaigns, and metallurgical test work.
 Skilled in interpreting metallurgical balances, recovery calculations, and laboratory analysis.
 Proficient in metallurgical accounting systems and statistical analysis tools.
