THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Treasury Accounting &amp; Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the company's day-to-day financial operations by managing cash positioning, overseeing customer credit, and maintaining accurate banking and account documentation. This role ensures financial integrity and operational continuity through timely month-end close reporting, cash conversion cycle analysis, and adherence to internal controls and company policy.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Daily Cash Management
<ul><li>Manage daily cash operating needs for payments.
</li><li>Oversee funding for accounts payable and accounts receivable collection functions</li>
</ul>
Customer Credit Management
<ul><li>Oversee customer credit application process, review and authorization for establishing payment terms.</li>
<li>Collaborate with BU AR/AP specialists to optimize cash position</li>
</ul>
Month End Close &amp; Reporting
<ul><li>Prepare monthly treasury journal entries related to monthly close
</li><li>Prepare monthly balance sheet &amp; cash flow statements for review</li>
<li>Prepare monthly BU cash conversion cycle &amp; customer aging reports
</li></ul>Internal Controls &amp; Policy Adherence
<ul><li>Lead treasury SOX/internal control process &amp; documentation</li>
<li>Review contracts, vendor applications, and customer set-ups to validate terms are in-line with company policy</li>
</ul>
Banking Operations
<ul><li>Prepare and update bank account documentation, including, but not limited to, signatory records.
</li><li>Ensure compliance with banking requirements and serve as liaison with banks for transaction inquiries and issue resolution.
</li></ul>WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
<ul><li>Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting or Finance.</li>
<li>CPA required</li>
<li>1-3 years of accounting experience at &lsquo;Big 4&rsquo; or other well-regarded audit / accounting firm</li>
<li>Experience in financial statement preparation and internal controls</li>
<li>Basic understanding of cash management, banking operations, and financial principles.</li>
<li>Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills &ndash; both written and verbal.</li>
<li>Strong Excel spreadsheet and modeling skills.</li>
<li>Ability to work in fast-paced, high-energy environment.</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
