<div><div><b>Job Summary:</b></div><p>
As AFSO, you will assist the Facility Security Officer (FSO) in ensuring MI Technical Solution&rsquo;s (MITS) Industrial Security Program compliance with DoD and company security policies to include establishing, maintaining, following, and documenting proper procedures or guidelines through administrative work and other tasks.</p><div><b>
Primary Responsibilities:</b></div><div><ul><li>
Process incoming and outgoing visit requests.</li><li>
Process country clearances and conduct foreign travel briefings and debriefings.</li><li>
Assists with enforcing security policies and procedures outlining requirements for safeguarding, and destruction of classified material.</li><li>
Process document control requests for incoming and outgoing classified material.</li><li>
Maintain the classified inventory register.</li><li>
Manage safe and combination changes.</li><li>
Oversee company CUI processes and compliance.</li><li>
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for areas of responsibility.</li></ul></div><p></p><div><b><br>
Additional Responsibilities:</b></div><div><ul><li>
Obtain necessary accounts to perform required tasks.</li><li>
Assist with annual self-inspections.</li><li>
Crosstrain in other security areas, to include AFSO1 primary responsibilities.</li><li>
Perform other functions and duties as required.</li></ul></div><p></p><div><b><br>
Requirements:</b></div><div><ul><li>
A bachelor&rsquo;s degree from an accredited college or university or 5 years of experience working with Navy personnel security systems and Navy databases; 2 years as a qualified Facility Security Officer (FSO)</li><li>
3+ years of experience working with Corporate Executives including the following: provide status updates, ensure compliance with NISPOM requirements and provide guidance on security related questions or concerns</li></ul></div><ul><li>
Must be a U.S. Citizen</li><li>
Must possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.</li><li>
Have a working knowledge with DoD security related systems (i.e., DISS, NBIS, SWFT, etc.) is a plus.</li></ul><div><ul><li>
Detail oriented professional able to maintain a high level of accuracy</li><li>
Above average experience with Microsoft Office 365 (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)</li><li>
Desired familiarity with Navy organizational structure.</li></ul></div><ul><li>
Work may involve sitting for extended periods.</li><li>
May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lb.</li><li>
Must have sufficient mobility to enter areas of industrial/commercial facilities where necessary.</li><li>
Ability to adjust work schedule during peak times.</li><li>
Travel may be required, as needed.</li></ul><p></p><p><i><br>
