CONSTRUCTION SERVICES PRACTICE
</b></p><p>Michael Baker International&rsquo;s Construction Services staff supports clients by acting as their trusted on-site agent through all phases of construction, from pre-design to close-out, by providing qualified construction managers, inspectors, constructability reviewers, schedulers, estimators and safety experts. As new technologies evolve throughout the construction industry, innovative ideas are required to maintain and deliver successful construction projects.
</p><p><b>What We're Looking For:
</b></p><p>Michael Baker is seeking an experienced Airport Construction Inspector to support ongoing projects in Baltimore! The Airport Construction Inspector will be responsible for inspecting and documenting construction activities associated with airport airside and landside infrastructure projects. This role focuses on heavy civil, pavement, and airfield improvements, ensuring work is performed in accordance with construction plans, specifications, FAA requirements, and applicable safety and quality standards. The inspector serves as a key representative of the Owner/Engineer during construction.
</p><p><b>What You'll Do:
</b></p><ul><li>Perform daily field inspections of airport construction projects, with emphasis on pavements (runways, taxiways, aprons), earthwork, grading, drainage, and utility installations
</li><li>Verify construction activities comply with contract plans, technical specifications, FAA Advisory Circulars, and applicable codes and standards
</li><li>Inspect placement, testing, and finishing of asphalt and concrete pavements, including subgrade, base courses, mix designs, joints, and surface tolerances
</li><li>Monitor contractor compliance with approved work schedules, phasing plans, and airport operational constraints
</li><li>Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, airport operations, and quality assurance personnel
</li><li>Review and document materials testing results (density, concrete strength, asphalt compaction, etc.) and verify corrective actions when required
</li><li>Prepare detailed daily inspection reports, field notes, quantity measurements, and photo documentation
</li><li>Track quantities for pay applications and assist with verification of progress payments
</li><li>Observe and report on construction safety, including airfield safety, MOT/ATSSA requirements, and FAA safety protocols
</li><li>Identify non-conforming work and assist with issue resolution and documentation of corrective actions
</li><li>Participate in pre-construction meetings, progress meetings, and field walk-throughs
</li><li>Support project closeout activities, including punch lists and final inspections
</li><li>Willingness to work as needed to satisfy project requirements (i.e., some nights, weekends, extended shifts, etc.)
</li></ul><p><b>What You Need to Succeed:
</b></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED required, Associate&rsquo;s Degree in Construction Technology or similar field preferred
</li><li>5+ years of airfield inspection, airfield construction, or closely related experience.
</li><li>Working knowledge of FAA airport construction standards, pavement construction methods, and materials testing
</li><li>Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
</li><li>Ability to read and interpret plans, profiles, cross-sections, and technical specifications
</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills
</li><li>Ability to pass a background check along with valid state driver&rsquo;s license.
</li></ul><p><b>COMPENSATION
</b></p><p>The approximate compensation range for this position is $73,218 - $110,000. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.</p></div>

What We're Looking For:
</b></p><p>We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Fusion Solution Architect to join our HR technology team. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert in Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud, focusing on analyzing our existing HCM environment, identifying opportunities for enhancements, and collaborating with HR stakeholders to develop and execute strategic roadmaps. The ideal candidate will bridge technical expertise with business acumen to optimize HR processes, drive efficiencies, and support the organization's HR goals. This is a hands-on lead position requiring both consultative advisory skills and development capabilities.
</p><p><b>What You'll Do:
</b></p><ul><li>Conduct comprehensive audits of our current Oracle HCM modules (including Core HR, Payroll, Talent Management, Recruiting, Learning, Compensation, Absence Management, and Time &amp; Labor) to document setups, configurations, and implemented functionalities.
</li><li>Identify gaps, underutilized features, and potential enhancements to improve HR operational efficiencies, such as automating workflows, integrating with third-party systems, or leveraging advanced analytics.
</li><li>Collaborate closely with HR leaders and end-users to gather requirements, understand current pain points, and align on future priorities for HCM system improvements.
</li><li>Develop and maintain a prioritized HCM roadmap, including short-term quick wins and long-term strategic initiatives, with timelines, resource estimates, and ROI projections.
</li><li>Design, develop, and implement custom solutions using Oracle HCM tools, such as Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts, BI Publisher reports, AI Agents, and personalization/customization features.
</li><li>Perform system configurations, integrations (e.g., via HDL, SOAP/REST APIs), and testing to ensure seamless functionality and data integrity.
</li><li>Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and training to HR users on HCM features and best practices.
</li><li>Stay current with Oracle HCM updates, releases, and industry trends to recommend proactive upgrades or innovations.
</li><li>Work cross-functionally with IT, finance, and other departments to ensure HCM aligns with broader enterprise systems.
</li></ul><p><b>What You Need to Succeed:
</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field; Master's degree or Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle HCM Cloud Implementation Specialist) preferred.
</li><li>5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud, including implementation, configuration, and customization across multiple modules.
</li><li>Proven track record in HCM Implementation &amp; Support, with experience in requirements gathering, gap analysis, and roadmap development.
</li><li>Strong technical skills in PL/SQL, Oracle BI Publisher, HCM Data Loader (HDL), and integration tools like OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud).
</li><li>Experience with/expertise in Oracle AI Agents Studio to create, deploy and manage AI Agents (out of the box and/or custom Agents).
</li><li>Familiarity with HR business processes and best practices in areas like talent acquisition, performance management, benefits, compensation and employee lifecycle.
</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering efficiency gains through technology.
</li></ul><p>Preferred Skills and Experience
</p><ul><li>Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware, PaaS extensions, or AI/ML features in HCM.
</li><li>Certification/s in Oracle Fusion AI Agent Studio and Oracle HCM
</li><li>Knowledge of data security, compliance (e.g., GDPR, SOX), and reporting/analytics tools like OTBI or OAC.
</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement, including presenting roadmaps to non-technical audiences.
</li><li>Project management experience, with agility in handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
</li><li>Prior background in the Engineering industry.
