<div>Michael Sullivan &amp; Associates is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to join our dynamic team. As a Legal Intern, you will work closely with our attorneys and legal staff on case preparation, research, and document drafting while developing practical skills essential for a successful legal career. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Assist attorneys in all areas of discovery and litigation.</li><li>
Review, organize, and summarize medical and evidentiary records.</li><li>
Conduct legal research and draft petitions, briefs, correspondence, and other legal documents.</li><li>
Follow up on subpoenaed records to ensure timely receipt.</li><li>
Schedule and confirm doctor appointments and witness interviews.</li><li>
Track attendance and follow up on doctor appointments and medical evaluations.</li><li>
Ensure all exhibits and related documents are received and properly filed.</li><li>
Provide general support to attorneys and legal staff as assigned.</li><li>
Perform other duties and special projects as needed.</li></ul>
REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>
Currently enrolled in an accredited law school, preferably with completion of at least one year of coursework</li><li>
Strong legal research and writing skills with keen attention to detail</li><li>
Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple assignments</li><li>
Professional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and staff</li><li>
Demonstrated interest in workers&rsquo; compensation law and a commitment to learning in a fast-paced environment</li></ul>
