<h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>About the Role:</b><br>
<b>Micro Bird USA LLC is seeking a hands-on Electrical Manufacturing Engineer which specializes in the</b><br>
<b>assembly of powertrain systems and electric vehicles, whose primary responsibility will be to support the</b><br>
<b>production line during ALL stages of the assembly of our electric systems and vehicles. More specifically, you</b><br>
<b>will be responsible for implementing best quality practices for a high-tech product. Working in collaboration</b><br>
<b>with the engineering team at Ecotuned, a North American leader in the field, you will serve as the go-to expert</b><br>
<b>for addressing electrical issues across the entire value chain, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to</b><br>
<b>best health and safety practices.</b></h5>
<h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>What you will do regularly:</b></h5>
<ul><li>You will act as the technical expert for all aspects of non-compliance and productions issues:</li></ul>
o Expert in problem-solving and troubleshooting, follow-up, and solution implementation<br>
o Expert in data collection and documentation methodology during non-quality incidents<br>
o Collaborator on ad hoc and/or recurring technical issues requiring a problem-solving approach and<br>
scientific methodology<br>
o Cross functioning collaborator with internal and external departments<br>
<ul><li>High-voltage health and safety expert, in accordance with Ecotuned guidelines, in the context of safety,</li></ul>
quality, productivity, development, and/or implementation:<br>
o Specialized tools: Research, training, deployment, and monitoring in production<br>
o Specialized equipment: training, deployment, and monitoring in production<br>
o Applied methods, including documentation, training, and monitoring in production<br>
o Health and safety trainer for Ecotuned high-voltage systems for our workers<br>
<ul><li>Collaborator for continuous improvement projects</li><li>Collaborator as a technical representative in product development with engineering teams</li><li>Collaborator/participant in vehicle start-up</li></ul>
Minimum Requirements:<br>
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in electrical engineering (CPI) or electrical/electromechanical technician (with equivalent</li></ul>
experience);<br>
<h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></h5>
<ul><li>Knowledge of advanced diagnostics in the electrical field, 12V distribution</li><li>Knowledge of high-voltage systems (&gt;400V) in the automotive industry and automotive standards</li></ul>
(SAE)<br>
<ul><li>Knowledge of CAN bus concepts and software (e.g., BUSmaster)</li><li>Knowledge of best practices in harness manufacturing (low and high voltage)</li><li>Knowledge of high-voltage safety principles</li><li>Ability to work in a constantly evolving manufacturing environment</li><li>Ability to perform manual tasks</li><li>Ability to perform work efficiently, innovatively and accurately</li><li>Ability to set and manage priorities and communicate effectively</li><li>Strong analytical skills</li><li>Ability to work in a team</li><li>Bilingual (French and English)</li></ul><br>
