Medisequence (Pvt) Ltd is a genomics and diagnostics facility located in Chennai, India.Role Description:This is a full-time on-site role for a Supply Chain Executive at Medisequence (Pvt) Ltd in Chennai.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Organizing International and Domestic Shipments.</li><li>Assist with loading and unloading of goods, sorting, stocking, and packaging</li><li>Completing Paperwork for logistic operations, maintaining shipment records to ensure smooth logistic operations, tracking and tracing shipments.</li><li>Budget for shipments on Duty, Taxes, Shipment Costs and analyze cost</li><li>Maintaining optimal inventory levels for three months, preventing shortages or overstock situations.</li><li>Ensure Temperature Control maintenance on goods at the time of Receipt, Storage and Delivery</li><li>Procurement: Obtain quotations, negotiating with suppliers on payment terms, delivery terms, supply period and follow up on Orders</li><li>Maintain the Warehouse environment and equipment clean and organized.</li><li>Preparation / Review of Standard Operating Procedures for Logistics, Warehouse and Procurement</li><li>Knowledge of relevant standards, laws, regulations</li></ul>Skills:<ul><li>Knowledge of Shipping and Logistics processes and documentation for Domestic and International shipments</li><li>Understanding of Supply Chain Operations and warehouse maintenance</li><li>Ability to maintain import and export inventory levels</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Commerce.</li><li>Qualified in Shipping &amp; Logistics / Supply Chain Management / Procurement ( Is a definite advantage)</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Strong Communication skills for collaboration and coordination</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Excellent communication and organizational abilities</li><li>Attention to detail and accuracy in work</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Only 1- 3 years of relevant experience will be considered</li></ul>Send your CV to hr@medisequence.com to book an Interview.Note: Preference for Immediate Joiners only!Job Type: Full-timeSchedule: Day shiftJob Type: Full-timeApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Do have ability to manage logistics operations Domestic and International Supplies?</li><li>Do you have experience in handling temperature controlled products in logistics?</li><li>Do you have experience in procurement negotiations?</li><li>Do you have 1-3 years of relevant experience?</li><li>Are you willing to work six days a week?</li><li>Can you Start Immediately?</li></ul>Work Location: In person
