Report to: Director of Human Resources
The Human Resources Assistant will provide support to the HR department by assisting with various administrative tasks and HR functions. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring efficient HR operations and contributing to the overall success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Support:<ul><li>
Assist in coordinating job postings and advertisements.</li><li>
Schedule interviews and maintain interview calendars.</li><li>
Communicate with candidates and arrange interview logistics.</li><li>
Prepare and distribute interview materials.</li></ul>
Onboarding and Offboarding<ul><li>
Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding processes.</li><li>
Ensure new hire paperwork is completed and processed accurately.</li><li>
Coordinate exit interviews and handle offboarding paperwork.</li></ul>
HR Administration
<ul><li>Maintain HR databases and employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.</li><li>
Prepare HR documents such as employment contracts and offer letters.</li><li>
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.</li></ul>
Employee Relations
<ul><li>Assist in organizing employee events, meetings, and training sessions.</li><li>
Handle employee requests and escalate issues to HR management as needed.</li><li>
Support employee recognition and engagement initiatives.</li></ul>
Compliance and Reporting<ul><li>
Assist in maintaining compliance with HR regulations and company policies.</li><li>
Prepare HR reports and metrics as required.</li><li>
Support audits and inspections related to HR practices.</li></ul>
Working Conditions:<ul><li>
Sitting up to 8 hours per day</li><li>
Occasional lifting of 25 lbs or less</li><li>
This position typically operates in a professional office environment.</li><li>
Regular hours, with occasional overtime during peak periods or special projects.</li><li>
Attendance at Career fairs, HR Seminars, and continuing education sessions is required.

Required Qualifications:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications:
<ul><li>Knowledge of HR operations and best practices.</li><li>
Experience with payroll processing or benefits administration.</li><li>
Familiarity with labor laws and regulations.</li></ul></div>
