POSITION SUMMARYPerforms all clerical and receptionist functions for the Rural Health Clinic. Acknowledges and responds appropriately to the hospital&rsquo;s customer relations philosophy, including the five fundamentals of the AIDET program.POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES1. Acts as a receptionist/secretary for the clinic.2. Maintains clinic records/files.3. Assumes responsibility and is self-motivated.4. Performs other related duties as assigned.POSITION QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Education: High School graduate or equivalent. Typing skills - 40 words per minute minimum, ten-key skills. Operate calculator, photocopier, fax machine, multiple line phones. Computer skills necessary.Physical Demands: Must be able to work eight hours, sit for extended periods of times (2 hours); bend, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level; lift supplies weighing less than 35 lbs.Working Conditions: Must be flexible. Regularly scheduled hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Exposure to sick patients, equipment and staff noise and interruption. Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
