Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of law, including but not limited to debt litigation, contract law, and landlord/tenant . This role requires excellent legal research capabilities, and the ability to draft/review legal documents effectively. The Attorney will be responsible for providing high-quality legal services to our clients while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and strategy development.</li><li>Draft legal documents, including discovery, interrogatories, motions, and briefs with precision and clarity.</li><li>Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in litigation cases while striving for favorable outcomes.</li><li>Represent clients in court proceedings and administrative hearings as necessary.</li><li>Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting practice areas to provide informed counsel.</li><li>Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff within the firm to ensure comprehensive client service.</li><li>Maintain organized case files and documentation for effective case management.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.</li><li>Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction(s).</li><li>Proven experience in litigation and legal drafting.</li><li>Strong research skills with proficiency in using legal research databases like LexisNexis and Westlaw.</li><li>Excellent writing skills with a focus on clarity and attention to detail in all written communications.</li><li>Previous experience working in a law office or similar environment is advantageous.
