Sales Data Entry SpecialistLocation: Shreveport, LA Company: Mid-South Metals LLCMid-South Metals is hiring a Sales Data Entry Specialist to join our team in Shreveport. This position plays a key role in supporting the quoting and order process by ensuring all data is entered accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and takes pride in maintaining precision in a fast-paced environment.This role reports directly to the Inside Sales Manager and is an important part of the team that helps our Business Partners receive timely quotes, orders, and updates.Responsibilities<ul><li>Accurately enter quotes, orders, and pricing into company systems</li><li>Review and verify information for accuracy and completeness</li><li>Communicate with sales staff and purchasing to clarify order details</li><li>Maintain updated records in Excel, CRM, and custom intranet tools</li><li>Support the sales team by providing quick and accurate information</li><li>Identify and report data discrepancies or workflow issues</li><li>Assist with general administrative support as needed</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Associate degree or higher preferred; High School Diploma required</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word</li><li>Experience with CRM or ERP systems preferred</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li><li>Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment</li><li>Prior experience in manufacturing, metals, or sales support is a plus but not required.</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Paid training</li><li>Bonus Potential</li><li>Commission Potential</li></ul>Schedule<ul><li>Monday to Friday</li></ul>Job Type<ul><li>Full-time</li></ul>About Mid-South MetalsMid-South Metals values its team members and promotes a healthy work-life balance.
