Position Details<ul><li>
This is a day position, 7 days on and 7 days off.</li><li>
Shift time is 7a-5p.</li><li>
Clinical responsibilities include admitting, rounding, discharges, consulting with specialists, and attending to RRTs and Codes.</li><li>
Work collaboratively with specialists, which involves pre-operative assessments and co-management of surgical patients.</li><li>
Practice efficiently and effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment.</li><li>
Flexible and responsive to patient needs and unexpected staffing changes.</li><li>
Closed ICU.</li><li>
No procedures required.</li><li>
EMR system is Epic.</li></ul> 
Qualifications<ul><li>
M.D. or D.O. licensed in the state of Connecticut.
</li><li>DEA license and CDS license.</li><li>
Board certification (or eligibility within five years of employment) in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Verification of residency training is required.</li><li>
Experience as an attending hospitalist is strongly preferred</li></ul>
