<div>Job Summary
Paraprofessional will work in grades 1-5 supporting the classroom teacher and one-on-one tutoring for Title 1 identified students across all four curricular content areas. 
Assignment Information<ul><li>
Part-Time</li><li>
Up to 29 Hours/Week</li><li>
Monday - Friday (when instruction is in session)</li><li>
$15.50/Hour - Starting wage is based on the current Midland Federation of Paraprofessionals Master Bargaining Agreement</li></ul>
Qualifications and Education<ul><li>
Must have high school diploma or equivalent</li><li>
Must have experience with early literacy instruction and attend trainings during the school year</li><li>
CPR/First Aid certified (preferred; willing to be provided training)</li><li>
Must be Highly Qualified</li><li><ul><li>
Completed at least two years of college coursework with 60+ credits -or-</li><li>
Hold an Associate's Degree or higher -or-</li><li>
ParaPro Assessment - Qualifying score of 460+</li><li><ul><li>
The ETS ParaPro Assessment is a general aptitude test used to assess the skills and knowledge of prospective and practicing paraprofessionals in areas like reading, writing, and math, according to ETS. It's designed to determine if individuals possess the necessary abilities to effectively assist teachers in classroom assistance.</li></ul></li></ul></li></ul>

Ability to assist with personal care needs</li><li>
Able to sit, stand, bend, and walk frequently</li><li>
Some lifting may be required</li><li>
Experience and/or knowledge of behavioral management techniques</li></ul>
