An associate who specializes in marketing, Social Media, publicity, and special event planning and execution. Candidates with special interest in the wine and spirits industry are strongly encouraged to apply!This is an opening for a full-time marketing/event planning and promotions specialist position. Please see below for additional details.JOB DUTIES-Plans and promotes special events including whiskey, food, and wine festivals across web, print, email and social platforms -Guides customers/special event clients through in store merchandise for special events and tasting menus -Supports, plans, and executes on-site, web and all social media platforms.-Promote and market multiple locations -Assists customers with product selection and special order inquiries-JOB REQUIREMENTS -Previous experience in large-scale event planning -Strong work ethic and desire to learn on the job-Outstanding communication and organizational skills -Passion for project management and/or wine and spirits culture-Ability to deal with high profile/high volume clientele in appropriate manner -1-3 years training or experience in similar field is desired but exceptions will be made for the right candidate-Previous experience in beverage service and/or fine dining is ideal as candidates must be comfortable making food and wine pairing suggestions experience in customer service or other people-oriented fields desired- Sales experience a plus - Ability to fit into existing environment and thrive - Ability to work independently and within a team environmentInterested applicants are encouraged to drop off completed application along with a current resume in person at 1610 Church Street.
