About usOUR MISSION: To share the love of vehicles through a unique automotive collection and visitor experience that will appeal to all.OUR VISION To provide an understanding of the past, embrace the present, and imagine the future.JOB DESCRIPTIONThis part-time position primarily focuses on visitor services and assists with retail sales and special events. MUST have availability Thursday - Sunday and some evenings.EVENT OPERATIONS DUTIES:-Assist with setup and tear down of events. This includes tables, chairs, etc.-Manage front desk for duration of private bookings.-Cleanup at the end of events. This includes wiping down tables, taking out trash, etc.-Greet guests and vendors upon arrival to facility.FRONT DESK DUTIES:-Welcome visitors and orient them to the facility-Perform cash and credit card transactions-Answer the telephone and direct calls-Address visitor questions and concerns with empathy and insight-Monitor reception and gallery areas, promoting etiquette among visitors as needed-Opening and closing duties: trash removal, balancing cash drawer, light cleaning, plant maintenance, etc-Process retail sales, returns, exchanges &amp; refunds-Maintain retail display area-Maintain desk cleanliness and organization-Other duties as assigned to assist with Museum operations and programmingQUALIFICATIONS:-Comfortable conducting transactions using computer technology-Professional demeanor and appearance-Comfortable interacting with the public with enthusiasm and professionalism-Must be a team player and able to adapt to a changing environment-Able to lift an average of 75 lbs.SHIFTS/HOURS:Must be available to work shifts on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and evening events.Approximately 10 hours per week with potential for more based on private parties.All new and vacant positions at Midwest Dream Car Collection will be filled by selection of only qualified candidates, regardless of race, color, gender, religion, national origin, age or disability, who meet the job-related criteria of the job description.Work Remotely<ul><li>No</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>When is the first day that you would be available to start this position?</li><li>We typically host events during evening hours and weekends.
