This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a positive school community and support the educational mission through excellent office management and customer service.Duties<ul><li>Greet visitors, students, and staff with professionalism and enthusiasm at the front desk, providing friendly customer support and assistance.</li><li>Manage multi-line phone systems, answer inquiries promptly, and direct calls accurately using proper phone etiquette.</li><li>Passion working with children.</li><li>Fill in the classrooms if needed.</li><li>Handle data entry, filing, and record-keeping tasks using computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks for bookkeeping purposes.</li><li>Maintain organized files, update student records, and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.</li><li>Assist with calendar management and schedule appointments or meetings for school administrators.</li><li>Support office management activities including supply inventory control, photocopying, proofreading documents, and general clerical duties.</li><li>Coordinate communication with parents and staff via email or phone to facilitate effective information flow.</li><li>Provide administrative support for school events or special projects as needed.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven office experience with strong clerical skills in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar) social media.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and proofreading.</li><li>Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse school communities effectively.</li><li>Experience managing multi-line phone systems and demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.</li><li>Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism under pressure.</li><li>Prior experience in office management or administrative roles within educational settings is a plus.</li><li>Personal assistant or calendar management experience will be considered an asset.
