As a Deli Bakery Associate at Military Deli &amp; Bakery Services you will have the opportunity to serve our nation&rsquo;s Military personnel and their families at one of our 103 US Military Commissary locations. </p><p></p><p><b>Job Description:</b></p><ul><li>
Maintains an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer service, teamwork with positive communication, and assist other team members as needed.</li><li>
Slices deli meats and cheeses to customer&rsquo;s request.</li><li>
Prepares custom party trays and makes sandwiches accordingly.</li><li>
Stock and organize displays, to include helping with shipments as needed.</li><li>
Ensure proper sanitation of the department, equipment, and proper food handling/preparation.</li><li>
Demonstrates the ability to work in fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.</li><li>
Other duties may include cake decorating, baking, rotisserie chicken preparation, or other deli/bakery tasks as needed.</li></ul><p><b>
Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>
Must be 18 years of age</li><li>
Willing to cross-train in bakery and deli tasks as needed</li><li>
Effective and friendly communication skills</li><li>
Knowledge of basic math and the ability to follow written guidelines
</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation</li><li>
Ability to stand and walk short distances for an entire shift</li><li>
Tolerates working in freezers for up to 20 minutes at a time</li><li>
Team player</li><li>
Grocery, food service or retail experience a plus!</li><li>
Some weekend shifts are required</li></ul><p><b>
