Job Overview We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer with a minimum of 5 years of hands on 2020 Design or Prokitchen software to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen spaces that meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with customers to understand their requirements, provide expert advice, and ensure a seamless design process from concept to completion. A strong emphasis on customer service and sales skills is essential to succeed in this position.Responsibilities<ul><li>Collaborate with clients to assess their kitchen design needs and preferences.</li><li>Create innovative layout designs that optimize space and functionality.</li><li>Utilize design software to produce detailed kitchen plans and renderings.</li><li>Provide exceptional customer service throughout the design process, addressing any questions or concerns.</li><li>Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining organization and attention to detail.</li><li>Assist in cash handling and operate cash registers during client transactions.</li><li>Implement upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales.</li><li>Maintain knowledge of retail math to accurately price products and services.</li><li>Engage in outside sales activities, building relationships with potential clients.</li><li>Conduct account management tasks to ensure client satisfaction post-installation.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Minimum 5 years of professional kitchen and/or bath design experience working directly with clients and contractors.</li><li>Proven experience in kitchen design or a related field is preferred.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships.</li><li>Proficiency in layout design software and tools.</li><li>Familiarity with cash handling procedures and retail math principles.</li><li>Ability to upsell products and services effectively.</li><li>Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.</li><li>A passion for interior design, particularly in kitchen spaces, is highly desirable.</li></ul>Join us as a Kitchen Designer where your creativity will transform spaces into dream kitchens while providing exceptional service to our valued clients.Job Type: Full-timePay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Profit sharing</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Dexter, MI 48130 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Dexter, MI 48130: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
