</li></ul>What this role is all about:
We are looking for a Production Planner in La Crosse, WI.
Schedule: Monday &ndash; Friday, regular business hours
The Production Planner plays a key role in ensuring smooth plant operations and on-time delivery to customers. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining production schedules, monitoring material availability, and coordinating resources to meet customer demand. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Production Planner balances production capacity, inventory levels, and customer requirements to drive efficient order fulfillment and overall operational success.
Job Duties:<ul><li>
Develop and maintain daily/weekly production schedules to align with customer demand and maximize plant efficiency.</li><li>
Monitor inventory levels and confirm material availability to meet order requirements.</li><li>
Adjust schedules as needed in response to changes in customer orders, material supply, or production capacity.</li><li>
Issue and maintain work orders and blend sheets, ensuring accuracy to customer specifications.</li><li>
Communicate schedules, updates, and changes to Production, Sales, and Operations teams.</li><li>
Partner with Warehouse and Purchasing teams to secure timely delivery of raw materials.</li><li>
Support inventory management by reducing excess/aging stock and maintaining safety stock levels.</li><li>
Create and maintain bills of materials, production orders, and item cards within the ERP system.</li><li>
Provide accurate reporting and documentation to support operational planning.</li><li>
Collaborate with Quality and Production teams to ensure compliance with specifications, allergen controls, and kosher requirements where applicable.</li><li>
Process inventory adjustments in accounting software.</li><li>
Stay current on projects, production workload, and manufacturing processes.</li><li>
Actively participate in production meetings, new product meetings, and other team meetings as assigned.</li><li>
Respond promptly and accurately to inquiries via email, phone, or in person.</li><li>
Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.</li><li>
Safety Protocol:</li><li>
Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.</li><li>
Correct or report any observed safety hazards.</li><li>
Support safety policies and programs.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
Education Required:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Operations Management or related field.</li><li>
Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.</li></ul>
Experience Required:<ul><li>
Minimum one (1) year of experience in a planning, inventory, and/or production environment required.</li><li>
Minimum three (3) years of experience in a planning, inventory, and/or production environment is preferred.</li><li>
Experience using ERP systems preferred.</li></ul>
Certification/Licensure Required:<ul><li>
APICS/ASCM certifications preferred or willing to obtain.</li></ul>

Our La Crosse, WI, plant is home to approximately 330 employees. This facility supplies the food, beverage, and nutritional industries with innovative functional ingredients and superior quality contract manufacturing services.
La Crosse, WI, is nestled between the Mississippi River and the rolling river bluffs.
