JOB Description for Radio ( VHF/UHF) Engineer.1. Site Survey &amp; Planning: Conduct detailed site surveys to evaluate the best locations for antenna and equipment installation, ensuring optimal coverage and signal strength for UHF/VHF systems, Drawing preparation, Preparation of BOM as per the site requirement.2. Hands-on Experience for Installation &amp; Configuration: Lead the installation of UHF/VHF radios, antennas, repeaters, base station controllers, and other related infrastructure including cabling, cable crimping/cable punching. Ensure proper configuration to meet communication system requirements.3. System Calibration &amp; Testing: Perform system tests to ensure that UHF/VHF communication systems are operating effectively. This includes adjusting signal strengths, performing calibration, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.4. Troubleshooting &amp; Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve issues related to signal interference, system malfunctions, power failures, or equipment faults.5. Network Optimization: Optimize UHF/VHF network performance through antenna placement, repeater adjustments, and signal analysis. Ensure uninterrupted communication for clients, especially in mission-critical environments.6. Maintenance &amp; Upgrades: Regularly perform maintenance tasks such as software updates, hardware replacements, and system upgrades.7. Documentation &amp; Reporting: Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, testing, and system configurations.8. Basic Knowledge of LAN, Desktop, Laptop: for the upgrade firmware of radio set and for the operation of NMS.9. Basic Knowledge of Low site work: i.e. LAN cabling, power cabling, UPS installation, earthing, installation of MAST etc with coordination with 3 party vendor.10. System Integration: Integrating UHF/VHF systems with other network components and existing infrastructure11. Communication Skills: good verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.Qualification and Experience:1. Engineer / Diploma with 4 years similar experience. Working in defence (Army/Navy/Airforce) stations will be an added advantage.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: &#8377;30,000.00 - &#8377;40,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
