<div></div><div>The Safety Coordinator reports to the Safety Manager. Responsibilities are focused on maintaining the safest possible workplace and OSHA Compliance. The Safety Coordinator will be hands-on and interact with our field personnel and management team daily.<br>

<b>Essential Job Functions:</b><br>
<i>This is a list of the most prominent duties and responsibilities.</i></div>
<ul><li>Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, standards, policies, and/or procedures.</li>
<li>Provides technical expertise to managers and supervisors in establishing techniques and procedures for the elimination or control of unsafe behaviors, environments, and hazards.</li>
<li>Plans and conducts periodic and unscheduled surveys and inspections of Miller Electric Company projects.</li>
<li>Conduct hazard analyses of project operations</li>
<li>Assist in the update and maintenance of the company safety manual</li>
<li>Develop and conduct risk assessments and Job Task Analyses for relevant tasks</li>
<li>Coordinates with operating activities to provide safety training and ensures safety awareness throughout Miller Electric Company.</li>
<li>Work with personnel to assure safe placement and job assignment</li>
<li>Assist in the maintenance of accident record keeping</li>
<li>Provide technical assistance with the investigation of accidents, incidents, injuries, and/or illnesses.</li>
<li>Foster a team environment when advising on needed corrections</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned</li>

<b>Position Requirements:</b><br>
<br>
<i>Required</i></div>
<ul><li>Must have BCSP certification (CHST or STS-C), or a BSc in Occupational Health &amp; Safety</li>
<li>Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience supervising employees engaged in tasks and work scopes similar to the Contractor Party&rsquo;s scope of work to include a data center construction project</li>
<li>OSHA 30 hours within the past 3 years</li>
<li>Understanding of Workers&rsquo; Compensation</li>
<li>Strong technical writing ability</li>
<li>A strong supporter of collaboration in an effort to gather the best solutions</li>
<li>Ability to address and train groups of 25-30</li>
<li>Ability to adapt to a changing work environment</li>
<li>Ability to act independently with minimal daily direction</li>
<li>Ability to work closely with all levels of Miller Electric Company</li>
<li>High energy and self-motivated</li>
<li>Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship. Employment-based visa sponsorship (including H-1B sponsorship) is not available for this position.

<i>Preferred</i></div>
<ul><li>Certified OSHA Outreach Trainer for the Construction Industry (preferred)</li>
<li>Proficient in the use of Google Apps and internet navigation</li>
