Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Scale Operator to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately weighing and recording shipments, inbound and outbound, to ensure seamless order fulfillment and efficient operations. Your expertise will help maintain inventory accuracy, support shipping and receiving processes, and contribute to a smooth distribution flow. You'd also be dealing with customers on a daily basis.Duties<ul><li>Operate truck scale and accurately record weights of inbound and outbound materials.</li><li>Enter data into computer systems accurately and efficiently</li><li>Maintain organized records and documentation</li><li>Answer incoming phone calls and direct and inquires according</li><li>Communicate clearly and professional with drivers, customers and co-workers</li><li>Keep the office tidy and organized</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Basic computer skills (data entry and simply software systems)</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Good written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Dependable and punctual</li><li>Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment</li></ul>*Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
