Requirements:

Responsibilities and Duties<ul><li>
Manages Accounts Receivables, ensures accuracy, researches discrepancies, tracks payments &amp; prepares bank deposits</li><li>
Manages Accounts Payable, ensures accuracy, codes to correct GL accounts, pays timely &amp; maintains vendor W-9 records</li><li>
Manages bi-weekly payroll processing, maintains timekeeping system, resolves discrepancies in pay &amp; tracks employee changes</li><li>
Helps with corporate driven employee HR &amp; benefits management &amp; maintains up-to-date employee records</li><li>
Manages local bank accounts, including petty cash</li><li>
Timely closing of corporate defined month-end processes</li><li>
Helps with analyzing &amp; preparing Fuel Tax Reports and Sales Tax Reports for suppliers and state agencies</li><li>
Supports budget and forecasting activities</li><li>
Assists in responding to inquiries from the Corporate accounting personnel regarding financial results and special reporting requests</li></ul>

Competencies<ul><li>
4 Year College Degree with Accounting Emphasis preferred.</li><li>
Strong character and integrity</li><li>
Ability to work under pressure and multitask, and meet required deadlines with accuracy and detail-orientation</li><li>
Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>
Work well with others as well as independently</li><li>
Good technical skills</li><li>
Must be PC proficient. Experience with QuickBooks accounting system a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and PowerPoint required.</li></ul>
Reporting Relationship
This position reports to the Accounting Director.
Work Environment
This position operates in a professional environment.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a Full-Time hourly position.
Travel
Minimum to no travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience<ul><li>
A degree is not required, but prior experience in Accounting or Bookkeeping is essential</li><li>
Prior FBO or Aviation experience is a plus, but not required</li><li>
Five years prior experience in the financial report/general ledger areas</li></ul>
