This role requires strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills to maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate with various departments.Job Specific Competencies:Inventory Control:<ul><li>Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock quantities.</li></ul><ul><li>Develop and implement inventory control procedures.</li></ul><ul><li>Conduct regular audits to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies.</li></ul>Procurement Coordination:<ul><li>Collaborate with procurement teams to order new stock based on forecasted needs.</li></ul><ul><li>Negotiate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.</li></ul><ul><li>Maintain strong supplier relationships.</li></ul>Data Management:<ul><li>Use inventory management software to track and record stock movements.</li></ul><ul><li>Generate detailed inventory reports for management review.</li></ul><ul><li>Analyze inventory data to forecast trends and improve inventory strategies.</li></ul>Warehouse Management:<ul><li>Organize and oversee stock storage for efficient use of warehouse space.</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure compliance with safety regulations in storage and handling.</li></ul><ul><li>Coordinate with warehouse staff for accurate inventory handling.</li></ul>Team Leadership:<ul><li>Lead and train inventory staff to maintain accurate records and follow company policies.</li></ul><ul><li>Set performance metrics and conduct regular evaluations.</li></ul><ul><li>Foster a team-oriented work environment.</li></ul>Loss Prevention:<ul><li>Identify and address causes of inventory loss, including theft or spoilage.</li></ul><ul><li>Implement strategies to minimize waste and obsolescence.</li></ul>Cross-Functional Collaboration:<ul><li>Work closely with sales, operations, and logistics teams to align inventory levels with business needs.</li></ul><ul><li>Support product launches and promotional campaigns with adequate stock availability.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.</li></ul><ul><li>Minimum of 5 years&rsquo; proven experience in inventory management or a related role.</li></ul><ul><li>Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar tools).</li></ul><ul><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li></ul><ul><li>Excellent organizational and communication skills.</li></ul><ul><li>Familiarity with supply chain and logistics operations.</li></ul><ul><li>Leadership and team management experience.</li></ul>________________________________________To learn more about Millstone Medical, please visit us online at www.millstonemedical.com.Additional Information:Millstone Medical Outsourcing provides equal employment opportunity to all applicants and employees.
