Millwood Hospital</b> is a 130-bed mental health facility that provides the complete continuum of inpatient and outpatient mental health and chemical dependency treatment to children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults. Our outpatient centers offer a short-term, outpatient treatment alternative in Arlington, Fort Worth and Lewisville.</div><div></div><div><br>

Position Highlights</div><ul><li><b>
Role:</b> Inpatient General Psychiatrist</li><li><b>
Caseload Flexibility:</b> Choose between an all-adult or mixed adult and adolescent caseload.</li><li><b>
Flexible Work Arrangements:</b> Full-time preferred; Part-time/PRN option available, allowing for work-life balance.</li><li><b>
Manageable Caseload:</b> 10-15 encounters per day, ensuring focused and personalized care.</li><li><b>
Patient Population: </b>Mixed caseload of children/adolescents and adults.</li><li><b>
Primary Duties:</b> Initial psychiatric evaluations, assessments, treatment team leadership, and patient discharges.</li><li><b>
Outpatient PHP Optional: </b>Available via telehealth for additional patient volume (not required).</li><li><b>
No Weekends:</b> Enjoy a schedule with no weekend requirements, promoting a healthy work-life balance.</li><li><b>
Leadership Opportunities:</b> Optional Unit Directorship and monthly stipend available.</li><li><b>
Independent Contractor:</b> 1099 Independent Contractor preferred, providing autonomy in your practice.</li></ul><div>
Qualifications</div><ul><li><b>
Education:</b> MD/DO degree from an accredited program.</li><li><b>
Certifications:</b> BC/BE in General Psychiatry (required); BC/BE Child Adolescent Psychiatry (preferred).</li><li><b>
Licensure:</b> Current Texas physician/medical license or ability to obtain, in good standing.</li><li><b>
Credentialing:</b> Meet all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians.</li></ul><div>
