Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Commercial Credit Analyst to join our financial services team. In this role, you will evaluate the creditworthiness of business clients, analyze financial data, and assess risk factors to support sound lending decisions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your analytical skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to fostering growth and stability.Duties<ul><li>Conduct comprehensive credit analysis by reviewing financial statements, cash flow reports, and other relevant data to determine clients&rsquo; ability to meet financial obligations</li><li>Perform risk assessments through quantitative research, financial modeling, and forecasting techniques to identify potential credit risks</li><li>Gather and analyze data related to client financial history, industry trends, and market conditions to inform underwriting decisions</li><li>Prepare detailed financial reports and summaries that clearly communicate findings and recommendations for credit approval or denial</li><li>Engage in negotiation with clients regarding loan terms, repayment schedules, and collateral requirements to secure favorable outcomes</li><li>Utilize advanced financial software tools for loan processing, data collection, and portfolio management activities</li><li>Monitor existing client accounts for signs of fraud or financial distress, implementing preventive measures as needed</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience in financial analysis, credit analysis, or underwriting within banking or financial services sectors</li><li>Strong understanding of financial concepts such as cash flow analysis, risk analysis, and quantitative research methods</li><li>Familiarity with accounting principles, technical accounting standards, and mortgage servicing processes is highly desirable</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in financial software applications and data management tools</li><li>Excellent math skills combined with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately</li><li>Prior experience in loan origination, portfolio management, or fraud detection is a plus</li><li>Knowledge of tax regulations and experience with financial report writing will enhance your effectiveness in this role</li></ul>Join us if you&rsquo;re passionate about leveraging your analytical expertise to make impactful credit decisions that drive growth while managing risk effectively.
