 Psychiatrist 
MindCare Solutions, a clinician-owned and operated leader in comprehensive mental health services, is seeking a psychiatrist to provide psychiatric consults, follow-up care, and medication management within the facility. This position will focus on direct clinical care, supporting the overall mental health program by collaborating with the treatment team and ensuring high-quality psychiatric services for inmates/residents. 
Compensation: dependent upon contract type/experience
Location: Kearny, NJ (on-site)
Schedule: 40 hours per week, dayshift 
Position Summary:<ul><li>
Provide direct psychiatric care to assigned inmates/residents.</li><li>
Perform psychiatric evaluations: admission, assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, and discharge.</li><li>
Manage psychotropic medication prescribing, monitoring, and adjustments.</li><li>
Participate in civil commitment, legal, or due process proceedings when applicable.</li><li>
Contribute to quality improvement / quality management (QI/QM) programs.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with internal controls, departmental policies, state licensing, and maintaining required registrations.</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Board Certified or Eligible (within 1 year of residency completion) in Psychiatry</li><li>
Psychiatrist - Corrections is required to have an active and unrestricted license in the state of NJ</li><li>
Maintains an active Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification</li><li>
Have excellent skills in diagnostic assessment and counseling</li><li>
This position requires sound clinical judgment, professionalism, and independence</li><li>
Valid Driver's License is required</li><li>
