Telehealth Care Navigation Coordinator - PRN
Job Summary:
The Clinical Healthcare Scheduler acts as a liaison and facilitator between MindCare Treatment teams and partners sites, and is responsible for scheduling, assisting with and coordinating clinical activities, appointments, information exchange, and consultations across sites and physicians through the use of telemedicine technology. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, the Clinical Healthcare Scheduler helps to ensure that high-quality telemedicine services are delivered and properly documented in according to company policy and partner site requirements. 
Compensation: $25 per hour
Schedule: Weekends, day and/or evenings
Duties/Responsibilities:<ul><li>
The PRN Care Navigator will primarily provide weekend coverage, with the greatest need for day and evening shifts and occasional overnight coverage. Additional opportunities include PTO and holiday coverage across all shifts on weekdays and weekends, based on operational needs. There is also an increased need for day shift coverage over the next 13 weeks to support a maternity leave, offering consistent PRN hours during that period.</li><li>
Facilitate safe and effective clinical consultations</li><li>
Work closely with physicians and client staff to ensure the timely and accurate reporting of medical records, schedules, billing, utilization, and outcomes</li><li>
Manage and coordinate the schedule and appointments, including pre-appointment chart prep and delivery of final encounter notes and supporting documents to customer</li><li>
Operate video conferencing equipment, telemedical and EMR systems</li><li>
Assist client sites with scheduling to utilize clinical time most efficiently and effectively and communicate changes in provider availability immediately</li><li>
Follow appropriate billing and documentation procedures</li><li>
Assist sites with patient selection and informed consent</li><li>
Administer screening tools to patients</li><li>
Conduct and log customer satisfaction check as required</li><li>
Performs other duties as required</li></ul>
Required Skills/Abilities:<ul><li>

Excellent written communication and documentation skills</li><li>
Ability to work flexible hours as required to meet facility and patient needs</li><li>

Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on a deadline</li><li>
Ability to operate a personal computer and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and medical office software, including electric medical record software</li><li>
Understanding of and commitment to appropriate protection of confidential patient information</li></ul>
Education and Experience:<ul><li>
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)</li><li>
3 to 5+ years of experience within a behavioral health facility or practice focused on psychiatric/mental health treatment, or equivalent</li><li>
2+ years' experience in practice administration, including scheduling, record keeping, billing, etc.</li><li>
Experience with telehealth technology, including video teleconference technology</li><li>
Knowledge of psychiatric medicines and acute psychiatric service line strongly preferred</li></ul></div>

Weekend Psychiatrist 
MindCare Solutions is a leading provider of behavioral health services supporting hospitals, emergency departments, inpatient behavioral health units, long term care centers and a variety of other clinical settings. We partner with healthcare organizations to deliver best-in-class, end- to-end behavioral health solutions that combine evidence-based care pathways, advanced technology, and high-quality providers. Schedule: Weekends
Compensation: per hour plus per encounter rate (1099 or W2)
Location: telehealth 
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Must have interstate compact license.</li><li>
The psychiatrist will conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments to diagnose mental health disorders.</li><li>
Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications ensuring that treatment plans are effective and adjusted as needed</li><li>
The psychiatrist will create individualized treatment plans that include medication management, psychotherapy, and other interventions.</li><li>
Chart audits, peer review, meetings, provider management, etc.</li><li>
The psychiatrist will maintain up to date medical records, ensuring compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and standards of care.</li><li>
Maintain and monitor confidentiality of patients and their files; audit files to determine that all services provided are documented; review status of patients to verify that all treatment and therapeutic programs are completed.</li><li>
The psychiatrist will work closely with psychologists, social workers, nurses, and staff to provide integrated and coordinated care.</li><li>
Provide immediate psychiatric care in crisis situations, such as suicide attempts or acute psychiatric episodes, and work to prevent incidents through proactive mental health management</li><li>
Endeavor to comply with the requirements of applicable regulations, laws, rules, procedures, policies, standards and/or contract.</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Psychiatrist is required to have interstate compact license</li><li>
2 years of inpatient experience (trauma experience required)</li><li>
Board Certified or Eligible (within 1 year of residency completion) in Psychiatry</li><li>
Valid and unrestricted DEA</li><li>
Must be proficient in using Telemedicine technologies to treat patients remotely</li><li>
Open to PMHNP collaboration (preferred)</li></ul></div>
