The role you'll play</b></h2>
<div>At Mindbody, product marketing is the heartbeat of how our innovation meets the world. As Product Marketing Lead, you'll translate powerful product capabilities into crisp, compelling stories that resonate with business owners and fuel adoption across the experience economy. From gym owners to enterprise brands, our customers rely on Mindbody to help them run and grow their wellness businesses. Your work will ensure they understand&mdash;and love&mdash;what we're building for them.<br>
This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role for a storyteller who's strategic, collaborative, and fluent in both insight and execution.<br>
You'll:</div>
<ul><li>Lead go-to-market for strategic launches, owning positioning, messaging, content, and rollout strategy from end to end</li>
<li>Develop engaging, scalable content tailored to business owners and decision-makers</li>
<li>Craft and manage customer-facing comms across in-product messaging, emails, release notes, and more</li>
<li>Equip Sales and Success teams with assets, training, and narratives that win trust and drive growth</li>
<li>Use qualitative and quantitative research to shape messaging, validate decisions, and uncover new opportunities</li>
<li>Analyze data to guide strategy, test hypotheses, and iterate on what works</li>
<li>Partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Enablement, Pricing, and more to align on launch goals and outcomes</li>
<li>Bring clarity and momentum to complex projects with multiple moving parts and stakeholders</li>
</ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Experience you bring</b></h2>
<ul><li>8+ years in product marketing for SaaS or B2B tech, with deep experience owning launches end to end</li>
<li>A strong portfolio of content that shows how you translate complexity into clarity (think decks, videos, landing pages, blogs)</li>
<li>Confident, precise communicator who can write for impact and speak to execs</li>
<li>Proven track record of enabling Sales and Success teams with effective, usable content and training</li>
<li>Natural collaborator across technical and non-technical teams, with clear communication in both directions</li>
<li>Analytical mindset - you use data to validate, optimize, and inform your work</li>
<li>Strong analytical instincts - you can interpret data, test hypotheses, and make informed decisions.</li>

The Role You'll Play:
</b></h2><p>This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Product Counsel to join our Legal team and support Playlist and its group companies - including Mindbody, + ClassPass - around the world. You will play a critical role in embedding legal compliance into Playlist's product lifecycle while ensuring the business retains its bias towards action and continues to move quickly while innovating responsibly. You will advise on Playlist's suite of B2B and B2C products. Your primary focus will be consumer protection laws and regulations but you'll also advise on AI regulation, privacy and data protection, marketing laws and requirements and other regulatory matters related to our products and services where necessary. Working in a highly motivated, dynamic environment, you'll be ready to roll up your sleeves and engage collaboratively with external and internal stakeholders - including outside counsel, employees and executives worldwide - to juggle deadlines, manage simultaneous projects on a variety of legal matters and jump in wherever needed to get the job done.</p>
<ul>
<li>Be embedded with Playlist's Product, Design and Engineering (PDE) teams, acting as a proactive partner throughout the product development lifecycle&mdash;from ideation to launch&mdash;to ensure legal compliance and manage risk without slowing innovation.</li>
<li>Participate in product roadmap planning, collaborating closely with PDE stakeholders to identify upcoming features and functionality with legal implications and helping shape design decisions early.</li>
<li>Be the lead Legal contact for Playlist's Product, Design and Engineering, Security and Marketing teams, attending monthly squad reviews, building relationships of trust and providing timely, pragmatic advice on the legal implications of new product design and development;</li>
<li>Monitor, research and analyze regulatory developments worldwide which affect Playlist and its customers, end users and employees to ensure proactive compliance with key federal, state and global regulations, including the CCPA/GDPR and US state privacy laws, TCPA, the ePrivacy Directive, HIPAA, laws relating to autorenewal subscriptions and other relevant consumer protection issues;</li>
<li>Assist with Playlist's privacy program, including maintenance of records of data processing activities, conducting data protection impact and legitimate interest assessments, and ensuring privacy-by-design is factored in to product development;</li>
<li>Partner with Playlist's Security team to continue to improve Playlist's privacy, safety and security-by-design requirements and handling privacy inquiries;</li>
<li>Draft, maintain and update internal policies and contractual documentation with customers, consumers and suppliers, including terms of use, privacy policies and data protection agreements;</li>
<li>Collaborate with sales, marketing and operations teams to support commercial negotiations and escalations and ensure our advertising and marketing campaigns are aligned with marketing laws worldwide;</li>
<li>Partner with all other practice areas within the Legal team as the subject matter expert in your area, including assisting the commercial legal team in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal agreements, assisting with M&amp;A, employment and dispute resolution activities and, when appropriate, taking the lead on contract negotiations and other projects;</li>
<li>Prepare and deliver privacy and product compliance training when needed;</li>
<li>Be prepared to work within US time zones</li>
</ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Experience You Bring:</b></h2>
<ul><li>Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) and qualified to practice law.</li>
<li>7-10 years' relevant legal experience. In-house experience a plus, ideally in the technology industry.</li>
<li>Strong experience working directly with PDE teams advising on consumer protection in the US, UK and Europe essential.</li>
<li>Self-Motivated. You have hustle, an ability to drive cross-functional projects and deep experience advising clients and managing projects on deadlines withminimal supervision.</li>
<li>Prioritization. You're adept at working smart and able to juggle many competing priorities, always focusing on the most critical.</li>
<li>A team player. You enjoy working collaboratively both across the Legal team and across multiple teams. You're always happy to roll up your sleeves to help out.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills, including the ability to finely tune your communications based on the audience.</li>
<li>Exceptional interpersonal skills, sense of humor, highly team-oriented and a commitment to high legal standards and professionalism required.</li>
<li>Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail, with demonstrated ability to analyze legal advice and apply it to business needs in a dynamic, sometimes ambiguous environment.</li>
</ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Pay transparency</b></h2>
<p>
It is Playlist's intent to pay all Team Members competitive wages and salaries that are motivational, fair and equitable. The goal of Playlist's compensation program is to be transparent, attract potential employees, meet the needs of all current employees, and encourage Team Members to stay with our organization.</p>
<p>
Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.</p>
<p>
The base salary range for this position in the United States is <b>$151,275 - $201,700.</b> The total compensation package for this position may also include performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.</p><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
