 About The Role
 
 
 
 MiniMed is looking for a Clinical Territory Manager to educate and train Health Care Professionals and patients on diabetes products. As field clinical experts and company representatives, CTMs report to the Clinical District Manager for their district.
 
 
 This is a field-based position that will support our Greensboro &amp; Winston-Salem, NC territories, and will also extend into Roanoke, VA and surrounding areas. The expectation is to be in the field 3-5 days/week.
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Educates patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals about intensive diabetes management using Medtronic Diabetes products.
 </li>
 <li>
 Supports sales activities indirectly and serves as a technical resource for diabetes products and solutions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborates with sales counterparts and other departments to develop and implement territory growth strategies, identify opportunities, and ensure optimal patient experiences.
 </li>
 <li>
 Troubleshoots clinical and technical issues related to Medtronic products and assists healthcare professionals in managing patient therapy for positive outcomes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Consults and presents to individuals and groups, plans and manages assignments within budget, and travels within the assigned territory for seminars, events, and meetings.
 </li>
 <li>
 Captures healthcare professional engagements via Salesforce in a timely and accurate manner.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participates in ongoing competency development through training and attends conventions, forums, and meetings to increase product awareness.

 This position is eligible to participate in a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP). The SIP provides the opportunity to earn additional incentive compensation based on your performance, bringing the estimated average total target compensation (TTC) range to $91,000 - $139,000 USD.

</h1>As a Senior Finance Manager supporting the Global Marketing organization, you will serve as the primary strategic finance partner to the Head of Global Marketing and the Marketing Leadership Team. You will provide financial leadership, insights, and decision support to help drive growth, maximize marketing effectiveness, and ensure resources are allocated to the highest-impact opportunities across the organization.
 
 
You will develop a holistic view of the global marketing portfolio, partnering closely with global, regional, and local marketing leaders to align investment priorities, unlock synergies, and optimize return on investment. As a people manager, you will lead a high-performing finance team while fostering a culture of business partnership, accountability, and continuous +improvement.
 
 
This role requires a highly strategic mindset, strong executive presence, and the ability to influence decisions across a complex, matrixed organization.
 
 
This role requires you to work on-site at our Northridge, CA office at least 3 days per week.

Strategic Business Partnership &amp; Financial Leadership
<ul><li>Serve as the primary finance partner to the Head of Global Marketing and the Global Marketing Leadership Team, providing proactive financial guidance and strategic decision support.
</li><li>Develop a comprehensive understanding of the global marketing organization, including strategic priorities, investment plans, resource allocation, and performance objectives.
</li><li>Partner with marketing leaders to evaluate growth opportunities, investment tradeoffs, and resource prioritization decisions.
</li><li>Influence key business decisions through actionable insights, scenario planning, financial modeling, and data-driven recommendations.
</li>Translate marketing strategies and initiatives into clear financial implications and measurable business outcomes.

<ul><li>Lead the planning, forecasting, and management of the global marketing budget, ensuring alignment with business objectives and growth priorities.
</li><li>Evaluate marketing programs, campaigns, capabilities, and strategic initiatives through rigorous business case &amp; ROI development and post-investment assessments.
</li><li>Identify opportunities to optimize spending, improve efficiency, and maximize marketing effectiveness across global, regional, and local teams.
</li>Establish frameworks and metrics to measure marketing performance, return on investment, and value creation.

</li></ul>Financial Planning, Forecasting &amp; Performance Management
<ul><li>Lead annual operating plans, long-range strategic planning, quarterly forecasts, and monthly financial reviews for the Global Marketing organization.
</li><li>Monitor spending trends, headcount investments, and program performance while identifying risks and opportunities.
</li><li>Deliver timely variance analysis and recommendations to support performance management.
</li><li>Support executive reviews with clear, concise financial analyses and strategic recommendations.
</li></ul>Team Leadership &amp; Talent Development
<ul><li>Lead, coach and develop the team, fostering a high-performance culture centered on collaboration, accountability, and business impact.
</li><li>Champion best practices in financial planning, business partnering, and analytical excellence across the finance organization.
</li></ul>Required Qualifications
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field and 7+ years of progressive finance experience, including business partnering and FP&amp;A leadership responsibilities
</li><li>Or, advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field and 5+ years of progressive finance experience, including business partnering and FP&amp;A leadership responsibilities
</li><li>5+ years of managerial experience
</li></ul>Nice-to-Have
<ul><li>Demonstrated experience supporting senior executives and influencing strategic business decisions.
</li><li>Strong financial modeling, strategic planning, and investment analysis skills.
</li><li>Demonstrated ownership of P&amp;L management, program-level budgets and full-lifecycle business cases.
</li><li>Exceptional communication and executive presentation capabilities.
</li><li>Proven ability to navigate complex, matrixed organizations and drive cross-functional alignment.
</li><li>Experience supporting Marketing, Commercial or Product organizations preferred.
</li><li>MBA or other equivalent Finance or management accounting credentials.
</li><li>Proven ability to translate technical and operations details into clear financial insights and influence cross-functional teams up to VP / Board level.
</li><li>Medical-device, biotech, or other regulated hardware / software industry experience.
</li><li>Proficiency with SAP, OneStream, Power BI, and automated dashboarding tools.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$136,000.00 - $230,000.00
For roles located in California, Seattle WA, Washington DC, Boston MA, and New York City, the salary range is $150,000 - $256,000 USD.
Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, education, certifications, skills, market conditions, internal equity, and geographic location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others). 
 
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Short Term Incentive (STI).
